Could have been better

We stayed at this VRBO in Las Vegas for two nights, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The condo itself was tidy with nice decor, and the space had a pleasant atmosphere. However, we noticed that although the floors looked clean, they left our socks a dark grey after walking around. The kitchen was functional but sparsely equipped, with fewer dishes and utensils than we expected, which made cooking a bit challenging. Unfortunately, the entry experience was frustrating. The owner provided the wrong gate code in her instructions and didn’t respond to our calls until the following morning. Her instructions were brief and focused solely on rules, lacking the warm welcome we’ve received at other rentals. When we brought up the gate issue, she initially suggested the code worked, which made us feel like we were at fault. In reality, she had been using a different code but hadn’t updated her instructions. While she did eventually apologize, it didn’t feel sincere, and we had to rely on other residents to open the gate for us multiple times. This soured what could have been a more comfortable stay.

Scouting Las Vegas

We rented this home to help give us a feel for Vegas living. It was a nice townhouse in a solid area of town that lived up to what was advertised. The only thing that I would recommend is that they get a few more kitchenware items for families like mine who choose to cook a few meals while on vacay (ie: measuring cups and spoons, oven mitts). Otherwise, it was just the type of property we needed for the purposes of this trip.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very safe. The few minor issues we had were resolved quickly. The microwave did not work while we were there, but that was a minor inconvenience. Would highly recommend!

Nice quiet location

My daughter had a competition at South Point, which is what took us to Vegas. I booked this because it was close to South Point, not packed with traffic. The house is great! Clean, & fit our needs perfectly, my daughter & I shared 1 room & my brother the other room. We didn't use the kitchen, because of all the sight seeing we did. We did use the washer & dryer. It was very convenient and we were very comfortable.

New Years Eve Wedding Weekend

We came into town for my nephew’s wedding at The Little White Chapel on New Years Eve. This was the perfect place for us to rest and get ready for the wedding. Not too far from the Strip but far enough to get away from the madness. Great restaurants close by and grocery store. Highly recommend Mama Birds, we ate there twice. The place was clean and in a quiet, gated community. It was nice having a washer and dryer so we could pack light and thank you for providing dish soap, laundry pods, toilet paper, etc. It was nice to not have to purchase those things just to get through the weekend. My only recommendation for the owner would be to add to the kitchen supplies. There was not a well stocked kitchen for cooking just the absolute bare essentials but we did not do any cooking so it was not an issue for us. If we come back to Vegas and we’re not staying on the Strip we would definitely come back here. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful getaway

Came into Las Vegas for a high school baseball tournament. Games were played at local area schools. The Oasis was in a convenient location, away from the congestion of "The Strip" traffic and on-going construction projects. The Oasis was very clean, quiet, peaceful, and safe, as this is a gated community. The owner, Alyssa, was responsive to our questions and easy to work with. The instructions she gave us were clear, and our stay was trouble free. There are many restaurants nearby too, and our favorite newfound place is "Stephano's Greek and Mediterranean Grill" on Blue Diamond Rd. Food and service was excellent and made for a great dinner two nights in a row. We will definitely look for the Oasis on any future trips to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Trip

The photos underrepresent the cleanliness, attractiveness, and comfort of this unit. I was searching for a property with 2 bedrooms, private baths, and king beds. Another important factor was location. We were hoping for a quiet neighborhood that was still in close proximity (15–20 minute drive to the strip). I can confidently share that this property exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we were to visit Las Vegas again in the near future this property would be on the top of the list. The host was also extremely responsive. This was a 5 star experience!

Enjoying the scenery around Las Vegas.

Everything with the exception of the following was great!! Lamp in living room did not work. Thermostat downstairs kept defaulting to 80 degrees. Only 1 garbage bag on property. Note: There was garbage already in the outside garbage can that we noticed on Sunday, as we planned on taking our garbage with us. When I pulled the garbage can bag out of the receptacle, the bag tore. We looked for an additional bag, but found none. We didn’t put the garbage can on the street Saturday because we had not put anything in it. Other than these few things, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!! We will be back!!

it was a perfect spot to chill in Vegas

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated and exactly as pictured! close to everything and felt so safe in the gated neighborhood and getting to park in a garage was awesome. We had one question for the host and got an immediate response, thanks Alyssa! also nice to have regular full size lotion, soap and shampoo/conditioner for us to use :)There was plenty of space for our family of 4, and really nice that both bedrooms have their own attached bathroom.... We would definitely stay here again :)

Great Place

Great place to stay. Close to shopping, the strip, food, and just far enough away for some peace and quiet. I was there for my daughters soccer tournament and it was only 20 minutes from the fields she was playing at. The place itself was new and very clean. There was construction going on in the neighborhood but never heard it. having access to the garage was definitely a plus, even though I rented a truck that was just a little to long to fit. Alyssa was very easy to communicate with, responded to every question or concern I had promptly.

Caution booking this place

I have never written a negative review before and I wish this wasn't the case. Initially, my family and I left this property after our 4 day stay with nothing but good things to say. In fact my husband, our baby and I were planning to return to this property weeks later for a conference, however, sadly this will no longer be the case. The owner Alyssa, charged us $420 in damages that we did NOT cause. She filed a claim and charged our card without any communication or inquiry. I wrote her kindly to let her know we did not cause any of the damages she was implying, however, she continued to accuse us and got her $ without further communication. She stated that the toilet was clogged - which I told her was the case, in writing, when we got there (not our doing) and as a result we didn't use it. There are 2 other restrooms so this was not an issue. She also accused us of smoking in her home. We are not smokers of any kind and never had any guests over during our stay. These accusation are false and we have been unable to get our $420 back. Again, we did not cause any damage to her home in any way. We left her home immaculate. We have been in communication with VRBO who are taking on this case, however since the money has been deposited into her account we won't be able to get it back unless she refunds us, of which she has yet to do and it seems highly unlikely she will. We have stayed at hundreds of VRBO's and have never received a negative review as guests nor given one to hosts. If you do decide to stay here I recommend filming everything at the home before and after your stay so that you can send that video to VRBO in case of fraudulent accusations. That being said, how can one prove that smoking did not happen? I did let the owner know that as a result of these false accusations, my only option, given she wouldn't reverse these fraudulent charges, is to write a review, hoping that others don't get caught in this situation. She then called VRBO immediately to ask them to block me from writing a review (which they cannot do). I told VRBO I would write the review, not because I want to be negative but because I want others to be aware of this and not be charged money for damages they did not do. Again, I wish this was different. I would have recommended this property other than the fraudulent "damages" charges that occurred.

Great convenient property

We enjoyed a 6 day stay for business and the property was as described mostly. Needs a toaster and a larger coffee maker but otherwise it was great. Host was very responsive and helpful.
