In the Heart of Laroque-des-Alberes

It was a very special time for us to be in Philippe’s rental in Laroque-des-Alberes for five plus weeks this winter. The house is one of the most spacious and comfortable we’ve rented during our decades of travel. Especially nice is the sunlight that brightens every room. Though there were only two of us, the house would easily accommodate 4-6. It has everything in the ways of need and convenience: kitchen supplies along with a good selection of staples, washing machine, great shower, and reliable internet. On each of the two floors are two patios as well, one when you need shade and the other to bask in the sun. The house is wonderfully located in the heart of the town, and for convenience a boulangerie/patisserie, a small grocery with an excellent selection of cheeses, and a butcher are a very short walk away. There are also several restaurants close by.The history and culture of the area are rich and deep from the many, many beautiful Romanesque and medieval chapels, abbeys, churches to the modern artists who worked in Seret, Collioure, and Banyuls-sur-Mer. And the stunning varied landscape of the region is a walker/ hiker’s delight with exceedingly well-signed trails along the sea coast and in the hills, mountains, and valleys.All of this coupled with the kindness and thoughtfulness of Philippe made our stay a full and filling one of pure pleasure.

A beautiful house in a beautiful area

Philippe was incredibly helpful on arrival and the house was just as described with everything you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed the balconies. The village has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants - we sampled many of them and we found every meal to be excellent. The coastline is beautiful and we wish that we’d had more time to explore. We hope to return again soon to see more.

La location est situee au coeur d'une commune tres vivante et belle, à proximité de la mer, de la montagne, des musées... Elle est spacieuse, bien équipée et les terrasses permettent de profiter de l'extérieur à tous moments de la journée. Ce sera un plaisir d'y retourner.

Belle maison rénovée au coeur du village authentique de Laroque des Albères

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Philippe très attentionné ainsi que ses conseils. Sa maison est le lieu idéal pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. On s'y sent chez soi! Elle est très confortable et très bien équipée. Pour nous, ce fut le pied à terre parfait pour découvrir cette belle région depuis un petit village authentique et vivant, différent de l'agitation de la côte. On y est au calme, dans un beau cadre, à 15' du littoral, avec de nombreux sentiers de randonnée (plusieurs très belles randos depuis le village!), vignobles et autres sites et villages à découvrir aux alentours.

Logement situé dans un emplacement très agréable à visiter, proche de plages, de belles randonnées, de beaux paysages à découvrir. Le logement en lui même est plus spacieux que nous ne l'avions supposé d'après l'annonce, très propre et bien entretenu et idéalement situé. Le propriétaire, quant à lui, s'est montré très gentil et attentionné. Expérience que nous ne manquerons sans doute pas de réitérer.

Excellent séjour avec un très beau cadre

Des vacances très agréables dans un petit village très mignon et suffisamment animé l'été. La localisation du village permets de se rendre très facilement en voiture sur les différentes plages et villes alentours. L'appartement, superbement bien rénové, est très chaleureux et agréable. Joli coin protégé des Albères.

Au coeur d'un village des Albères, vivant, convivial mais à l'écart des grands centres touristiques, c'est une maison très confortable qui a gardé le charme du passé. Les propriétaires des lieux sont très accueillants. Les Pyrénées méditerranéennes sont magnifiques, de Collioure au Canigou !

Une belle maison de village avec deux terrasses, à deux pas des commerces et des restaurants, à 5 mn des départs de randonnées dans les magnifiques Albères. Le village est superbe et vivant. Banyuls à 20mn. Notre hôte a été très accueillant. Nous reviendrons.

Le Charme entre mer et montagne

Si vous cherchez une maison avec une âme dans un village vivant réservez chez Philippe. Vous aurez un accueil très chaleureux dès le seuil franchi, vous vous sentirez comme chez vous! La maison est impeccable, grande, bien équipée, belles terrasses , la literie est excellente. On s'y sent immédiatement très bien avec des beaux volumes et une décoration soignée. Tout est neuf et refait avec goût !La région offre des possibilités importantes mer, montagne, art, vieilles pierres et les bistrots du village invitent à la convivialité. Petits commerces à proximité, sans prendre sa voiture, départs de randonnée au pied de la porte. Mer à 10/15min, montagne, soleil.... que du plaisir et de bons souvenirs partagés en famille, nous avons passés un très agréable séjour . Nous y reviendrons assurément !
