Hotel needs updating. Paint is chipped in many places; in elevators, walls leading to rooms, inside room.
There was no hot water when we wanted to take a bath a night, room service was called and maintenance did arrive within 5 minutes. Maintenance checked it, left and came back and it worked. He said they turn it off shut off valve when the rooms are not being occupied. In the morning the hot water took a while to kick in as well.
It was a double bed room, blanket on one bed was a little stained. It was late when we saw it so we just did not use it.
When we arrived there was some sort of an event going on in front of our room so we were not able to use the pool or hot tub right in front of our room. We decided to use the one close to the office with no hot tub. We also could not use our front chairs/table because of the event. If front office knew an event was being held there and there was capacity we should have been placed in another section. The hotel did not seem fully booked. Overall I would not stay there again. The aesthetic is beautiful but it needs major updating.
