Was not provided advance warning that the property was undergoing renovation of new carpet. No signage at check of renovation. Room was a third floor. Elevator was not operating upon check in. Multiple issues with room (anchor protruding through wall in sitting area at head level of couch, vinyl peeling off headboard of bed, rust on bottom of tub, vent in bathroom filthy). Largest complaint is being woke up at 8:30am on a Sunday morning to contractors banging tools and music. Noise was so loud it shook the walls. Renovating is understandable but hotel should never place paying guests on same floor let only right next to rooms that are being renovated. Upon checkout, early by the way, other guests must have experienced the same dissatisfaction as the staff placed a sign at the front desk regarding renovations. This should have been disclosed prior. I have added photos. If I could have uploaded a video you would have experienced what we did at 8:30am.

We stayed in a room with a King bed and a nice sitting area. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the coffee/tea available 24 hours a day. The breakfast was average. We were sad to notice, too late, that there was a pancake station in the lobby. Signage in the breakfast area would have been nice. The heater in our room was very loud. My husband had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep because of it. Perhaps it needs servicing? We loved the location of the hotel. It is conveniently right off Route 30, but no road noise is heard. It is close to our favorite shops in Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse. We usually stay at a bed and breakfast that we love, but La Quinta was a great choice for a quick trip and saved us some money. We'd definitely stay again - but hope that we get a room with a quieter heater!
