About this property

Peaceful house on the lake for anglers, hikers and cyclists (DSL, SAT)

Our house is a traditional Swedish country house in solid timber. It has been completely renovated, keeping the old style from 1870. At the same time, it includes all modern comforts. The house was furnished by a family artist with typical Swedish furniture, handicrafts and art objects. Norregard has been family-owned for many generations. It is high and isolated in the Smaland highlands. The view over the endless forests is fantastic. The property has an area of 80,000 square meters, consisting of lonely forests and flowering meadows with many beautiful hiking trails. It is easy to find berries and mushrooms and the rich animal life, consisting of elk, deer, lynx, hare, capercaillie and black grouse, invites you to observe. On an idyllic path through magnificent forest you can walk (or drive) in 10 minutes to the secluded boat and bathing area with sandy beach at Lake Lyen.

Gammelt, slidt og beskidt!
Huset ligger i skøn natur. 5km fra en dejlig badesø. Desværre var huset meget slidt. Vi ventede 1,5 time på at komme ind, da der stadig blev gjort rent, da vi ankom. Trods dette var huset fortsat beskidt. Der var beskidt i skuffer og skabe. Desuden beskidte kopper mm i skabene. Huset ligger lige ud til en vej. Der kører få bilen, men dem, der kører forbi, kører meget hurtigt. Da der ikke er afskærmet til vejen, kan huset ikke anbefales, hvis man har helt små børn.

Dejligt hus med god plads. Manglede læselys ved sengene. Rart med lidt mere sofaplads i store stue.
Dejligt sted at holde ferie. Smuk beliggenhed. God plads ude og inde. Fin badesø 5 km fra huset.
