While I appreciated amenities like the jacuzzi tub and fireplace and the close proximity to the Lake, this motel is very rundown. The room was extremely beat up. The faucet for the jacuzzi tub dripped all night long which kept me from sleeping well. The floors creak loudly and the rooms are not soundproofed at all. The office staff were super nice and very helpful as I was arriving on a late check-in. They were aware I was a solo female traveler and made sure I had safe, easy access to my room key and room. The inn is located walking distance from both the main hub of South Lake Tahoe and the lake itself which is very convenient. If a bit of money was put into upgrading this old motel, it would be an excellent place to stay. As is, I might recommend it in the off season when it’s quiet, but could see it being a nightmare during busy season.

The heater did not work at all we tried calling front desk and phone didn’t work plus people up stairs kept us up all night they were playing loud music kept stomping in the floor it was a very bad experience for us we won’t be staying their again

The staff was nice and friendly, check in was nice and simple . Rooms do not look like pictures and room only had one outlet for electronics and it was in the bathroom. Tv software seem outdated. Shower and bathtub were the highlights of the room

Room was clean and large but cold. It took 5-6 hours to warn the room up above 65 with the gas fireplace being the only source of heat. I reccomend warming the rooms up durring winter when you have someone scheduled to check in that day. That and adding some sort of partition to separate the shower feom the restof the room maybe qould be good.

The walkway outside of all the units is a plywood base which is very loud when walked upon. All night I was awoken when people came and went at all hours. I was able to sleep no more than 2 hours. The next unit was seemingly occupied by a prostitute that left and returned many times through out the night. The walls were so thin it was as if it was in my room.

The room itself was great, amenities were decent, and the fireplace kept the room warm during the winter. However hAD to take off one star for how badly you can hear people walking around and making noise above you and next door.
