I liked how hassle free our check in was and how lovely and warm the room was. The only bad point was that my phone operates on 2 degrees network and i was unable to get signal or make use of the wifi

Lovely little lodge. Great for short stay.

Pros: Very welcoming owners and excellent food.
We managed to secure a last minute booking and we are very glad we stayed at Lake Roxburgh Lodge. The room was very comfortable and the staff were externally friendly. Make sure to book into the restaurant for dinner...the food was fantastic! Very high quality and excellent value for such a high standard. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for our stay but there is a beautiful lake and great cycling routes close by which we will definitely for.

Great hotel near Lake Roxburgh

Will be definitely returning. Proprietors Phil and Kym extremely helpful and accommodating. Great food and beverages! Extremely good value. Best nights sleep on our holiday in NZ.

Comfortable stay near the cycle trails.

Pros: Kim and Phil were excellent hosts: very friendly, hospitable people. Kim is an amazing cook as well! The garden setting was very pretty, too.
Cons: We were next door to a man with a loud voice who swore a lot. Maybe better wall insulation between units?
Location: Cycling-Clutha Gold and Roxburgh Gorge trails, which we really enjoyed. We had a great lunch and coffee in "The Store" cafe in Roxburgh township.
We came to Lake Roxburgh Lodge to do some local cycling trails, which proved very enjoyable. Phil organised a jet boat trip between sections and then used our vehicle to come and pick my husband up at the end, which meant we were able to get to Alexandra!

Nice lodge near lake and bike tracks

Very comfortable unit. Great size bed. Clean and new bathroom. Great shower. No Sky or Wi-Fi. Nice restaurant with amazing food and good bar selection. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A great stay!

Pros: Private, Quiet, lovely Meal - actually the best steak ever
Cons: The spa had gross stuff all in it - water was yellow, suffice to say we couldn't relax and enjoy it

Pros: Fantastic food and wine. Gay friendly
Cons: No bathroom cabinet in bathroom for cosmetics etc. Maybe a bigger table for the Tea and coffee facilities.
