French Mountain Cove

Directly on Lake George, this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath lakefront vacation rental includes a separate in-law suite with another bedroom and a full bath. This Lake George vacation home accommodates ten guests.

The main floor features an open-concept kitchen/living room/dining room area with a fireplace, perfect for cozying up after an adventurous day. Just off the kitchen is a coffee bar for all your coffee needs. The main floor also has a half bath.

The second floor features four bedrooms and two full baths. The first and second bedrooms are equipped with queen beds. The third bedroom offers a twin bunk bed with a twin trundle, and the fourth bedroom features a twin bed with another twin trundle.

The lake level offers another living space and a wet bar, the perfect place to spend time with the family while taking in all the lake views. Step outside the French doors onto the patio, where you will find a fire pit and BBQ for all your outdoor needs.

The in-law suite is a separate cottage right next door. The suite features a full Murphy bed, a small kitchen, and another full bath.

This Lake George rental also offers a boathouse and dock space for two 24-foot boats.

Just a few minutes from Lake George Village, this home allows you to have privacy and be close to Lake George events.

We had an outstanding wkd at French Mountain Cove! What a wonderful place, right on the water w/ an outstanding view. The patio & dock provided great opportunities for hanging out, happy hour, dinner & taking amazing pix. We will definitely come back again. The host was always reachable, replying quickly to all messages. The reservation/contract/payment process was simple and flowed easily. The home is located in the SE corner of the lake, only a few miles from town…perfect! The home was very clean throughout, w/ clean towels waiting for us in our rooms. The kitchen had everything you needed. On the ground floor, there’s a lg family room w/ TV, kitchenette & double-door access to the large patio. This felt like a huge bonus room bc there’s already a sizable family room/kitchen on the 1st flr. My only slightly negative comment is regarding the check-in process. In the rental documents, the host originally stated that an email would be sent to me the Tues before the rental began (w/ entry code & WIFI info). On Thurs, still no email, so I reached out and inquired about it. Their reply was that it would be sent on the check-in day at 4pm (which is check-in time). Not a huge deal…BUT…this is where I began to wonder if was a bonafide rental! So, it would make sense for the host to have continuity in their docs and make sure they all reflect the correct timeline. Aside from that, everything was terrific!

Perfect house on Lake George

I came up here for a fishing trip with my family, including kids three years old and up. Being on the water is still safe and easier to manage than I thought, even with young ones who can't swim. The house is gorgeous and set up to entertain. There are small fish all around the shore and boathouse, keeping the kids entertained with fishing. There is plenty of parking. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and there is a grill available. The location is the best part, being close to downtown and all the restaurants. I would highly recommend this place.
