We’ve seen better
We do have several issues that we feel should be addressed so that future guests will have a more positive experience. The listing advertises a 2nd bathroom however the bathroom on the bottom floor was dirty, not accessible, and could not be used. Stairway to bottom floor is dangerous. There was no lighting (light switch is behind the door) and no warning that the stairs are steep.. There was no air conditioning. This is not necessarily a problem, but there was only one ceiling fan in the living room and one fan in one bedroom. We only knew to bring fans because I called to inquire. Additional fans should have been available for each room and would be appreciated. There was an infestation of large black ants. We killed about 30 and had to vacuum the hallway because of the trail of dead ants. We bought ant traps. We stuffed a hole with a Clorox wipe which seemed to help (not solve) the problem. The door lock stuck which the owner was concerned about and we had to buy WD 40. It helped but we were not able to lock the door. Appliances (toaster oven) was dirty and we could not use it. Bathroom towels were not adequate and there were no kitchen towels or cleaning products. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were very clean. We could see that you are, indeed, working on renovating this house. I do appreciate your prompt responses to my questions and concerns about the lock. You were very pleasant to work with. I hope you appreciate my feedback.
