The low ceiling in attic room meant we bumped our heads above the bed and accessing the plugs in other part of the room. Consider putting cushioning in these areas.

The view is amazing. We had a deluxe room with a view of the lake from both the bedroom & bathroom (Room 208). The room was a decent size, not a lot of hanging cupboard space but not a problem as I take a clothes steamer. It is about a 15 minute walk into town (downhill through the forest). We got Ubers in the evening around 12 euros. Pool area is nice with view of the lake. Plenty to do on or around the lake - hire a boat, paddle boards, pedalos etc. You can hire bikes and cycle around the lake very safely on the designated cycle paths. We took a boat trip around the lake. Disappointed that most of the reception staff don’t acknowledge you. It doesn’t cost anything to look up from desk & say ‘Bonjour’ or ‘Bonsoir’.

Heaven in Annecy

Les Tresome Spa was an amazing place for those seeking epic bike rides and post ride spa access. The staff were incredible-helping out in so many ways-just loved this place!!

The property, pool area, and room were very nice. The housekeeping arrived quite late in the day and didn’t seem to clean the room very good. The front desk staff were helpful but not overly friendly.

We stayed for 8 nights in a room booked for two people. While we didn’t expect a large space, the lack of storage was genuinely frustrating. The room offered only about 30cm of hanging space—enough for perhaps five tops—and two very small desk drawers, barely fitting a few items. When we raised our concerns with reception, we were told the rooms are intended for short stays of no more than two nights, and that had we called the hotel directly, we would have been informed of this. The response felt dismissive, lacking any empathy or willingness to help. We felt overlooked rather than supported. What made this more surprising was that we booked through Expedia, which listed a two-night minimum stay for this room. Nowhere was it made clear that the room was unsuitable for longer visits. As a result, we lived out of our suitcases for eight days, struggling to stay organised and constantly wearing creased clothes. The hotel also appeared to be understaffed, and unfortunately, it shows. The team seemed unhappy and stretched thin, which impacted service throughout our stay. We dined in the restaurant twice—on one occasion, we waited 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order, and then another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Prices were also surprisingly high: nearly £13 for a fresh orange juice and £16 for a beer. While we understand that hotel prices are often elevated, the quality of service didn’t match the cost. Overall, we left feeling disappointed.

The property is beautiful and the location is stunning. The pool and outdoor areas at the end of June are beautiful and not too busy. Whilst the breakfast at €25 is nice it’s basic for the dining prowess of the hotel. There is also a lack of daytime food if you’ve decided to stay at the hotel and relax by the pool. The walk to the centre of Annesy is only 15/20mins and the town described as the French Venice does not disappoint.

Have just returned from a 6 day stay at this hotel. It has some really good aspects, but also some really bad issues that could quite easily be resolved by the hotel. The good: Grounds - Set in a lovely spot with picturesque views of the lake. Pool - Superb. Nice temperature, great views. Cleanliness - The hotel is really clean. I think that's about it unfortunately. The Bad. Rooms – The rooms are made up nice but this is all lost as there is absolutely no space to hang/store clothes! Worst hotel we have ever stayed in for this. There was only a 15cm rail for both of us to hang our clothes for a 6 day stay. No shelves for socks etc, we had to live out of our suitcases for our whole stay. Prices – As an example, $16 euros for a beer. Come on, that's just taking the proverbial. Service - So the staff were nice, but they were ineffective. I lost count the amount of times I had to wait 10 minutes at the bar, as staff were say hovering, they would finish hovering before they would then come over and serve me. Really bad. Michelin stared. Due to the above, we decided against eating at the Michelin stared restaurant. I am sure the service for this would have been much better, but it would have made us even angrier for it to then return to normal the next day when we was at the pool ! Food - Menu was mwah. No snack bits you could have at/beside the pool Paid Parking – Come on, they have an ANPR machine at parking gates that charges you 50 cents an hour – really? It just reeks bad

Get a room facing the lake on the 2nd floor. It is worth every penny. Rent bikes, ride around the lake, visit the town then relax by the pool at the resort. Stay at least 2 nights.

Service needs improvement

Very Nice hotel & location. Room did not get cleaned. No one ever answered the phone at reception. Very difficult to exit the gate, cars lined up. Instructions only in French. Service at Le Alteier restaurant was terrible.

Excellent property with cute rooms and gorgeous scenery of the mountains and lake. Beautiful pool and the food at the restaurant is divine. Only a twenty minute walk to old Annecy.

Lovely setting - odd service

The hotel is situated above the lake & really has some nice views. However! The service lets it down, the people on reception were friendly & a couple of the wait staff too. However!I was told the bar was open till midnight every day- one night I had a terrible headache & wanted a soft drink/more water for my room (around 11:30)I was refused and told it was “impossible!” Very rude & abrupt & made no sense as we were AT the bar. For almost £300 a night, the service was atrocious. The veggie menu I was exited about at the Michelin restaurant “doesn’t exist anymore”There is nothing vegan, and very few vegetarian options. If you’re at the pool; you must get dressed & go to formal salon bar to get a drink,no service to the pool, no casual dining options throughout the day- only limited snacks at the bar inside in the formal area. This seems such a shame as there’s lovely views outside in summer & lots of tables? There were so many obvious things missed.No mini bar items or snacks in the rooms. I ordered some pink ‘champagne’ at the bar that was is in fact just cheap €10 wine and they charge €50. Was lots of noise from a wedding one evening, this stopped then started again at 12!I was kept awake till 3am with noise from a neighbouring property the same day. The wedding group were horribly loud in the spa too. Could be wonderful if the dining/bar options weren’t so disjointed. Town is 25 min walk or so- but be warned it is a steep incline. Taxi £14-£20 for a 5/10 min journey.

This is a lovely location and beautiful hotel, nice and quiet, great views, very comfy bed and good shower. A few niggles are ae only had one room of our 2 ready at check in so had a 40 min wait for the other one with no real apology or even a drink offered while we waited. The aircon was broken in our room so they moved us to a new room which was a smaller room as all they had left. The manager was lovely but a few of the others on reception were not so helpful. The bar was understaffed and you can only eat in the Michelin starred restaurant at lunch time which you don’t always want if you just need a light lunch.
