Great room and location, great staff. Skip the breakfast buffet and go to Hula Grill instead. Akip Maui brewery and go to Hula grill instead. Its just right diwn the street.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, room was very clean and didn't have a musty smell like a lot of hotels do, and best of all, it was right in the middle of all the stuff to do in the area. I highly recommend staying there!

The hotel offered a recently remodeled, very clean, and comfortable room. The entire property was well-maintained, and the staff were consistently kind and accommodating throughout the stay. Its location was excellent as well—just a 2-minute walk to a beautiful, clean beach. Additional amenities such as nearby restaurants, easy parking, and a quiet atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. On the other hand, even though we paid a resort fee, we still had to pay separately for the beach lounges and umbrellas, which were very expensive. It was disappointing and somewhat confusing to be charged additional fees for basic beach amenities, especially since we were staying at the hotel. The breakfast was correct.

We visit maui often and this was our first time at this property. The greeting and check in was amazing and the whole experience felt very authentic hawaiian and not corporate fake. Every single staff member we encountered engaged and was helpful and friendly. You could tell the employees are happy to be there and well taken care of. The rooms were large and comfortable. The property was so open and easy to navigate but not crowded with people and also very quiet and relaxing! Close walk to the beach and restaurant on site maui brewing is also excellent!!! We will be back. Dont change a thing!!!!!

We had a recently updated room and it was great!! The staff are always friendly and helpful. We have stayed at the Kaanapali Beach hotel 5 times and love the stretch of beach connected to the hotel. Also having Maui Brewing on premises is a definite plus!!

Nice enough place. Rooms are clean and updated. No gym. Pool is not the best location. Much of the view from the courtyard gardens and facilities are obstructed by the restaurant. Very long check in transactions.

Overall I’d consider it again but comparing to neighboring hotels I’d add a hot tub (easy add-on) and a gym

The staff were annoyed if you didn't give them a tip for every move. $500 a night and they only make up your room every third night The building is very dated they have put in new carpet and paint. The neighborhood is fantastic. Maui brewing company is a complete rip-off walk 5 minutes to hula Grill and you will love it

Room is clean, the location is awesome, whale ship boards just next to the hotel and we saw the whales! The snorkeling spot is also within 5-10 minutes walk and there are turtles swimming with us!
