Our family of four had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui. The resort is beautiful, and the kids really enjoyed seeing the penguins and flamingos right in the lobby. The pool area was a definite highlight for us, with the waterfalls and grotto providing plenty of entertainment for the children. The location is perfect for families, as being right on the Ka’anapali beach walk makes it easy to get to the water or walk over to Whalers Village. The grounds are very well-maintained and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our trip. It’s a lively, high-quality resort that served as a wonderful home base for our Maui vacation, and we’d certainly recommend it to others.

This was a beautiful stay. The birds seem well cared for with happy lives, the landscaping is pretty, the art collection is beautiful and interesting, the building is wonderful, the rooms are grand, the breakfast is fantastic, the views are breathtaking, the staff are wonderful, and we would definitely all stay here again.

A very nice resort overall. Loved that you could walk to other resorts and the long sandy beach. Not impressed with breakfast (powdered eggs) and the main restaurant service was slow.

Super comfortable beds. Our room walked right out into the path to the ocean and everything was so beautiful! The activities for kids were a huge plus, we made bracelets, leis and clay snowmen.i think the only thing I'd change was making you aware when you check in that these activities are availbale and when/where to sign up for them. Also, the trolley was a bonus when we were goint to other activities and Whalers's Village nearby.

Very clean and well kept property. Ocean view room was splendid! Great vegan plant based menu at hotel’s Umalu restaurant! Seeing sea turtles from hotel beach was a bonus!
