I spent a total of 3 hrs on the phone with Expedia attempting to deal with my situation.
We have booked many many trips, I’m disappointed in this property the staff but most importantly the lack of care or concern offered by Expedia. The property itself, not as it appears online. We had 3 different rooms, none of them to the standard you would expect. The acknowledgement of the front office staff about the first room given to us (521) is evidence that they don’t give a heck!
We moved from that room. To 186, better but not ocean view that we paid for. Also, not to the standard I would expect. Then, our 3rd night we got moved to 519, ocean view but not well cared for. Not as bad as 521, but still sub par motel 6 level of motel at best. Our friend stayed in 518, I booked her room on the same reservation. Her room was nice, bright and clean. Past the rooms, the fithy restaurant and awful parking my biggest issue was the way I was treated by the front desk person who originally check us in. Rude abusive condescending! You couldn’t pay me to be in the same room with her.
Overall, my anniversary trip wasn’t what we planned.awful rooms (all 3) we had. The restart itself isn’t in a condition to be considered a resort. The restaurant was great food, but the property was gross. I’ve seen food trucks cleaner.
More than anything, Expedia failed me! Please review your correspondence with me. All the calls and time, you should have handled this not put us thru the bs.
