Stay Portugal Apartment Sofia (Rental Licence No. 7559/AL) is located in a peaceful location in the historic town of Lagos, our delightful 2 bedroom apartment is within an exclusive gated complex with a large swimming pool / sun terrace and dedicated parking space in the basement. The apartment has free Wi-Fi and is furnished to an exceptional high standard with a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area offering all the facilities you will need to enjoy maximum comfort during your stay. The large terrace which over looks the pool area benefits from a good deal of sunshine ideal for alfresco dining and sunbathing. Take a leisurely stroll (15-20 minutes) and you will reach the beautiful marina and historic walled town with it's maze of narrow streets lined with the finest shops and restaurants. You are also within easy reach of four supermarkets, several golf courses and beautiful beaches waiting to be explored. We feel that our apartment offers the ideal location for families, couples and golfers.

Our Portuguese Management Company provides excellent standards of cleaning and hygiene following regional health guidelines Clean & Safe (Portugal) and are there to help you, should you require them, during your stay. They can also arrange a number of services including airport transfers, welcome packs, cots and highchairs.

Well…

Apartment was as advertised. There was no warm welcome. We are traveling from abroad but instructed not to take a towel to the pool. There was one roll TP for two women for 4 days. The beds were not comfy. The next place we stayed had wine for us and we were met in person by a nice man who explained everything. It made a difference in how we felt as renters.

Beautiful apartment

Bearing in mind this was extremely last minute( booked Tuesday for occupying from Thursday!)- the communication was excellent, directions/access instructions excellent. Beds comfortable, great to park car up and walk into town- although we only stayed 3 nights it would’ve been great to stay longer and sample more of Lagos delights. Property is really well equipped for a longer stay- great kitchen,fabulous lounge and dining area and large balcony. Would definitely recommend

Comfortable apartment in good location

Apartment is located in a residential area with very good access to several supermarkets. The condominium is very well maintained with a good sized swimming pool. Ten minute walk to city centre and marina. Traffic noise may be an issue. Facilities in the apartment are good and the balcony area is spacious. Underground car parking bay included.

Convenient, quiet, close to it alm

We had a wonderful time in this spacious condo. It’s was clean, fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal together. A 5 min walk to grocery store and 15 minute walk to town. The neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. The pool was great to enjoy at the end of a hot day.

Great apartment in quiet location

This really spacious and clean apartment was perfect for our needs as a family with young children. We found the apartment was in a great location for it to be quiet enough in the evenings but within comfortable walking distance to the marina, beach and old town. We also used Uber to get back to the apartment on the days we had taken on too much of a walk (for around 5 euros). Having Aldi and Lidl really close by meant it was easy to pick up essentials. The huge, sunny balcony overlooking the pool is such a lovely bonus. We’ll definitely return.

Wonderful stay close to everything

We stayed as four adults for five nights. The condo is excellent, bright and well equipped. Having two full bathrooms and undergound parking for our rental car was a plus. Exceptionally clean and a very helpful check in process. Loved spending time exploring the old town, marina and beaches. Aldi next door and a Lidl not far away.Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights in April 2024 lovely clean and safe property, would stay again. Only downfall was showing up to no key being left at the property, luckily it was resolved quickly but again wasn’t ideal.

2nd time here

We stayed here 4 years ago and came back because of the location and exceptional condo. We loved the set up, perfect for two couples, everything you need and huge L shaped balcony is like a sun trap. We enjoyed getting our steps in walking to old town and having Aldi right beside was a bonus. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Lovely place to stay and relax while on vacation.

Very clean and modern condo. Everything one would need, was available. Since we didn't rent a car, we used Uber to get to the Old Town area. (4-6 Euros).Very short drive. The walk is 20-25 minutes with hills. Something to keep in mind, should one have mobility issues. Very close to groceries and the bus line.

This was a lovely property which was very quiet during our stay. The check in process ran very smoothly with Lauren. We made use of the grocery store right next to the building and the pool for afternoon and evening swims. We especially enjoyed the large patio.

The apartment was beautiful and well furnished in all departments including kitchen utensils etc. There is an Aldi next door and Lidle, pingo doce a short walk away. Its a 15 to 20 minute walk into town or 4 euro in a cab. Pool area lovely, very clean and quiet. Would highly recommend.

Good quick communication with Andrew. Very clean and spacious and bright. Grocery stores 5-10 min walk away. Good location for visiting Lagos. Some minor noise from nearby road and from building residents (especially early morning)! Overall would stay again!

Nice, clean and well located apartment

We stayed in Lagos for 3 days.. The apartment is really nice, big spaces, very clean and location is good as we did not need the car to get to Lagos center. It takes a 20mins walk to get into the center where there are a lot a good and cheap restaurants. The apartment itself is very comfortable and it comes with an underground parking space. The only small inconvenient is to find how to get into the parking garage from the street around... the access is a bit "convoluted"... Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay within this lovely and well located apartment.

Fabulous spacious apartment

Excellent apartment everything you could possibly need and more. Lots of kitchen equipment. Only down side was the hill to walk down/up into Lagos maybe this should be mentioned as difficult for mobility.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely view over the pool. Very well equipped for cooking, but lots of great restaurants in the town. Good communication with owner. The pool is a great size and was rarely busy. Supermarket very close by. Walk in to main town about 15 minutes. Lagos is a lovely town with a beautiful marina. Lots of activities in the local area, beaches, water park, boat trips and coasteering. A perfect holiday .

2 months in Lagos

We, husband and 3.half year toddler spent a wonderful 2 months of this property. When searching, it was important for us that the property was safe for for a toddler but also that it had the facilities to enable us to work remote and live for 2 months. The apartment was really spacious and had all the amenities to enable us to do just that. Whilst it's not in the centre of old town, the walk is less than 15 minutes and we have done almost daily, we did however enjoy living a bit off the busy areas. The pool was very accessible and in addition to all else, the apartment was equipped with beach and pool things we could use. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we hope to come back this year again.

Unbelievable Find!

This was our first trip to Portugal, specifically Lagos, so we were a little nervous not knowing much about the area and accommodations. All I can say is “rest assured” you will not be disappointed in renting this property. Right from the beginning of booking to the day we were home, I have nothing but great things to say about the owners and our experience. Whenever we had questions the owners responded in a timely manner and very accommodating in every way. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious (much bigger than in the pictures) no need to purchase anything other than groceries where the supermarket is literally next door. Just a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and the Marina where you will find many restaurants and shops. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Beautiful apartment !

We loved this property - the only pics don’t convey how big it is!It was in a great location with grocery stores close by. We drove into the downtown but only because I had hurt my foot - my husband walked in and it was about 20 minutes to the center of Lagos. The elevator was right outside the door which led to the garage so it’s great if you have mobility issues. The hallways are wide, the kitchen large and fully equipped and even though there was a busy road outside with the doors closed it was peaceful. It had a beautiful large balcony that we used every night and a pool which we did not use but some people did. We would also recommend Portofinos restaurant and especially “ The Garden” very cool atmosphere both of which Andrew had recommended. I would recommend this property. Thanks Andrew!
