Casa das Primas can offer you a holiday in tranquil surroundings, with open views of the countryside and the sea beyond yet less than a 10 minute walk from the local beach, market, shops and restaurants. There is a small SUPERMARKET 100 meters from the villa. Three high-quality studio apartments; The Penthouse Apartment (HAUK11170179; The Garden Studio Apartment (HAUK 11170221) and the Every Lodge Apartment (HAUK11170226) all have private entrances and patios and are available for rental , all of which have recently been upgraded. Free WI-Fi is available in all apartments. All apartments share the architecturally designed water garden, Snug and large swimming pool. The ponds in the water garden abound with water lilies, enlivened by ornamental fish and frogs. The special Koi pond fed by a waterfall makes for a soothing and sensational holiday. We also offer you personal attention at all times, if required. Book early to avoid disappointment


Details of studio apartments: Each of the three apartments has a separate private entrance, and each has their own patio or terrace area. Each apartment is fully furnished and the kitchens are fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, crockery and cutlery. Casa das Primas offers their clients an outdoor secluded, shared, swimming pool with umbrellas and sun beds. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a Snug fitted with a lounge suite, air conditioning, electric blinds, games, books, WiFi and beautiful views across the garden for a relaxing holiday. A perfect setting to relax and get away from it all. There is private parking on the premises, or plenty of roadside parking available. .Faro Airport is approximately a 50-minute drive from Casa das Primas. The property is owned and managed by Vanessa de Beer.

Car Hire, taxi transfer & local information.: For guests wishing to rent a car, there are a number of local car hire firms offering very competitive rates, with efficient and personal service. You can collect your car at Faro Airport. An airport transport can also be reserved from Faro Airport to bring you directly to Casa das Primas. The cost is approximately 70 Euros. The journey usually takes approximately 50 minutes. .
There are over 100 restaurants/bars in Carvoeiro and surrounding areas. A mini market 100 metres from Casa das Primas can supply all the basic requirements. There are a number of excellent walks around the cliffs and village. Casa das Primas is very centrally situated with easy access for any activity. The villa is extremely quiet and peaceful in spite of its close proximity to the centre of Carvoeiro.

We are able to offer you peace of mind with our cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting of the apartment between stays. With each apartment having their own entrance and exit, there is much less risk of coming into contact with other guests staying on the property. As the apartment is self-catering, there is minimal exposure to cleaners and other workers. We are able to implement social distancing policies during check-in and check-out. Your health and safety is imperative to us and as such we are happy to comply with the WHO and local authorities on advice and implementation of policies. Our cleaners are fully trained in correct cleaning and disinfecting of the apartment, pre - and post stay. If more information is required you may certainly contact the owner.

Area Description and sport: The Algarve is a region renowned for its wonderful sunny climate, miles of golden pristine beaches, either long stretches of beach or intimate little coves with stunning rock formations. The sea is azure blue and mostly clear. The Algarve has an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year. It has virtually no rain during the summer months. February is the start of spring, with October being very mild and warm. The Algarve has many sporting attractions. Golf is a very popular sport, as well as many water sports, tennis, horse-riding, walking and biking. . Water parks, Zoo marine, Lagos Zoo and the historical castle in Silves are all 10 - 30 minutes away by car from the villa.

Our stay at the studio apartment was amazing. We had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Communication with the host was clear prior to arrival and we met with a friend of the host who was super helpful and friendly on arrival. The pool was definitely a highlight for us and the surrounding gardens were lovely. Location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and shops. Thank you!

Lovely penthouse apartment

We had a great 10 day stay on Vanessa’s lovely property. The view from the spacious deck was spectacular. The apartment is well stocked for cooking. The bed was comfortable. It’s very spacious for a studio setup. Vanessa was accommodating and helpful in ensuring we had a fantastic stay. We’d definitely book again.

We stayed at the Studio apartment and it was perfect for our 5 nights in the Algarve. The gardens were so lovely, and the pool (more suited for sun bunnies than my shade-needing self!), was a pretty oasis we used a couple of times, mostly the evening. We had all the dishes/amenities we needed, and then some! Bring your own beach and pool towel when you stay, as the provided ones are only for the Studio/not for use out side the apartment. Our host was very helpful and welcoming, and being able to walk into town and to the beach was fantastic.

Tranquil Gem

An amazing property in grounds that seem to go on forever. The owners are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely swimming pool, ponds with fish and of course the cheeky frogs. Very handy for the centre of Carvoeiro. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend.

A Peaceful Vacation

Vanessa has a beautiful property with 3 lovely apartments. The grounds are filled with gardens and fish ponds. All are in a lovely, quiet neighborhood close to town and the beach. Hope to return.

First time self catering ..I’m converted!

A small yet beautiful ground floor self catering apartment with a terrace shaded by a huge tree, gorgeous gardens to wander around with a lovely pool to use whenever we wanted, our hosts Vanessa and Terry couldn’t have been more helpful (informative yet never intrusive.) Being our first self catering experience this was a welcome break indeed, the villa and 2 other apartments are set back up a hill away from tourist life so you end up with a tranquil setting just minutes away from a vibrant, friendly Carvoeiro town. Our stay was a unique way to experience the Algarve ..and one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful gardens, fish ponds, swimming pool and relaxation room. We stayed at the end of March and the weather was a little cool to appreciate the alfresco life style that the property offers. Fab holiday rental in Carvoeiro.

We had a lovely relaxing time at this superb rental. Amazing water gardens and lovely private pool. The owners Vanessa and Terry are great gas and make the best company when having a casual chat in the Garden Pod. A lovely chill out zone. These owners are anxious to please so a stay here is highly recommended. Try for the much coveted garden terrace room which offers spectacular views, sea and setting sun etc,

Amazing! A lovely, well-equipped apartment, the best we've ever been to!

We had the garden studio which was perfect for my husband and I. There was everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday and the studio itself was immaculately presented. And the beds were so comfortable! We ate outside on the lovely terrace, shaded by a gnarled carob tree. The terrace was beautifully planted and had its own BBQ. And as for the gardens - stunning! It is a haven of peace and tranquillity and we spent long afternoons enjoying the quiet around the pool. Our hosts Vanessa and Terry were so welcoming and even took us to the out of town supermarket so that we could stock up with supplies! Such lovely people. We rarely go back to the same place twice, but I think we've found the ultimate relaxing getaway here!

Brilliant apartment and location

We have stayed numerous times in Carvoiero and always stayed in different apartments or hotels, I think next time I will be rebooking this lovely studio apartment. It was clean, well kept and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and a pleasure to walk round. Vanessa and Terry were a fountain of knowledge when asked about where to eat and the best deals available. They gave us space to enjoy our holiday but were there when needed. The location is ideal, close enough to walk into the village to the local bars and restaurants, in fact it has the best location of anywhere we have stayed before. A big thank you to Vanessa and Terry for a lovely holiday, hope to see you both very soon xx

beautiful location in the algarve, fantastic garden and swimming pool

the apartment was very clean and everything was available for two persons. The bed was very good. We could use the garden for our breakfast. From this apartment you have no view but a nice small area. The apartment was 1 km walk to the village and beach. Carvoeiro is great! The apartment is not very big, there is no bench in the room, only the bed and one chair. In summer that will be no problem because you live outside, now in april it was a bit small. Vanessa was very helpful and friendly. Her homemade chocolate cake was very tasty!

First stay in Carvoiera and greatly enjoyed - apart from the steep hills !!! Garden at Casa das Primas a revelation - simply amazing what had been achieved on a rocky base not ideal for planting - fish ponds, mini waterfalls and orange trees not to mention a swimming pool and GYM - and all just so peaceful and quiet !!!! An ideal spot to chill out but with beach, town and all amenities readily accessible.

Heavenly Gardens

I'm just finishing the packing to go to the airport after a lovely week here in the Garden Apartment. The studio is quite spacious, big bathroom and very well equipped separate little kitchen. Everything I looked for was there! Vanessa was always on hand if needed but not intrusive at all. Her husband Terry always with a cheery wave and her dad Charles tending to the most wonderful garden with it's fruit trees, beautiful plants and trees and of course the frogs, fish and turtles in the ponds! 5 Minutes down a pretty steep hill brought us to the town and all the bars and restaurants we could wish for .Lovely to come back to the peace and quiet of the pool and garden, reading my book with just the sound of the wind chimes for company. Bliss! We will be back!!

Lovely little garden studio with separate kitchen. Well equipped. Patio area and beautiful water gardens and pool. Hospitable hosts. Very quiet and relaxing , about 10 minutes walk from centre of Carvoeiro, which has an abundance of fantastic restaurants.
