The Bay Windmill at La Touche in Drôme Provençale

The gîte at the Moulin de Bay is located between Grignan and Montélimar in a small hamlet, in a natural, refreshing environment about 5 km from the owner's house.

It is an ideal place for lovers of outdoor sports (mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, fishing, ...) as well as for gourmets and gourmets (truffles, nougats, wines, picodons, olive oil ,. ..).
The proximity of the stream will bring you an invigorating freshness during the hottest hours.

You will discover our old villages enlivened by shows such as the unmissable Grignan castle with its night parties.


Example of tourist route:

In the morning: departing from La Touche destination Le Poët-Laval for a visit to the classified medieval village. Then direction Dieulefit for a visit of the artisan potters (advice: don't forget to stop at the Mont-Rachas pottery on the road to Dieulefit). Lunch break at Dieulefit in the restaurant 'Le Quartier'.

In the afternoon: direction Bourdeaux, visit a goat farm with purchase of the traditional picodon. Or for the more athletic after Dieulefit direction Crest then Saillans for a descent of the Drôme by kayak or rafting.

Séjour agréable dans une location située au calme dans un cadre naturel. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires complétement disponibles pour nous faciliter nos vacances. Location idéale pour nous qui partions tôt le matin et rentrions en fin de journée. Séjour au moulin de Bay

Une maison où on se sent bien et dont on apprécie la fraîcheur. La proximité du ruisseau permet de supporter la canicule. Le jardin arboré est très agréable. Rien ne manque. La location, bien qu'un peu isolée, est idéalement située pour faire de la randonnée ou du tourisme. Si le portable ne passe pas, il suffit de remonter le chemin pour avoir du réseau. Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances et avons été très bien accueillies par les propriétaires.

Gîte trés agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au milieu de la nature en bordure d'un petit ruisseau, non négligeable quand vous avez 3 semaines de canicule, cela apporte un peu de fraicheur. Des chemins de randonnées passent tout prêt du gîte sans prendre la voiture. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et accueillants.

Sehr idyllisch, ruhig und mitten in der Natur! Der Zustand entspricht der Beschreibung, aber die Lage am Bach half uns im Sommer 2022 gut über die Hitzewelle hinweg, da es in der Nähe des Wassers noch am kühlsten war.

Gîte au calme et agréable

Un endroit à découvrir, à la fois loin et proche de tout, pour ceux qui veulent visiter une très belle région . Peut-être une amélioration à apporter : avoir un téléphone fixe. En effet, pas de réseau téléphonique là-bas (il y a bien le wifi) et quand, comme moi, on a la malchance de tomber en panne de véhicule, pas simple de communiquer avec son assurance-assistance. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil.

Merveilleux séjour dans un cadre de rêve!

La maison du Moulin de Bay dans cet environnement plein de nature et de calme a été le milieu idéal pour passer les vacances d' été. Le ruisseau en face de la maison est biensûr la cerise sur le gâteau. Rien ne nous a manqué. La maison dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin et est aménagé avec goût et simplicité. Les propriétaires sont absolument charmants et trés avenants.
