Welcome to the Balcón de Cotillo complex, Los Lagos, El Cotillo, northwest of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve. You spend your holiday in a prime location right on the beach and sea from the "Playa de los Lagos" and "Playa de la Concha". These beautiful beaches with tranquil lagoons and white sand, or a bay with waves invite you to swim, surf, snorkel or stand - up padlling. Or just to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Almost all apartments are located in the complex have a size of about 40 square meters and are all the same cut with living-dining room kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, terrace or balcony. Only four apartments have a frontal sea view. Due to the "sloping" layout of the other houses, most of the apartments (ours) have beach and sea views depending on how the location is. Sometimes the apartments even have mountain views. So you can enjoy sunrise or sunset from the balcony or terrace.
The apartment 'Casa La Concha' (40)
The approximately 40sqm apartment is accessed from the outside via a short staircase. Due to the staggered situation one takes neighbors hardly was. The apartment consists of a living / dining room (sleeps 2 for children / teenagers) with fully equipped kitchenette. Next to it are the bedroom with large wardrobe and the bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine.
The destination- El Cotillo
El Cotillo, the original coastal town in northwestern Fuerteventura, is far from the hustle and bustle. In the alleys of the old harbor district, fishermen, individual tourists and wealthy Majoreros, who have their second residence here, meet. The charming little town of El Cotillo is known as a paradise for surfcracks, high waves and good wind conditions. There is plenty of sun here. In El Cotillo, for example, an alternative surfing scene has been established, always in search of new challenges. There are ideal conditions for "windsurfing", "kitesurfing" and traditional surfing. A small supermarket (delicious breakfast sandwiches / baguette!) and more shops are only 4 to 5 minutes walk from the apartment. A larger supermarket, a bank, numerous restaurants and bars, a laundry and other offers can be found in El Cotillo.
The "Urbanización LOS LAGOS"
About ten minutes walk from the "center" is the small settlement in which the apartments "Balcon de Cotillo" were built. Here, lovingly arranged in the typical style of the Canary Islands, the staggered, bright white houses were built. Due to the "privatization" and the associated change in the administrative structure, much has been invested in the renovation of the complex, which consists of a well-tended garden with palm trees, oleander and more. m. is surrounded.

Perfekt!!! Jederzeit wieder!!!
Unser Aufenthalt im Apartment "La Concha" im einstigen Fischerdörfchen El Cotillo war einfach traumhaft! Die Ferienwohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen und hatte alles, um unseren Urlaub rundum perfekt zu machen: Traumlage direkt am Strand, Meerblick von der Terrasse, helle Räume, sehr sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet! Es war mit Abstand das bestausgestattete Apartement, das wir überhaupt jemals gebucht haben. Wir haben uns ganz wie Zuhause gefühlt. Auch die gesamte Abwicklung der Buchung mit Familie Borgemeister war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist alles optimal abgelaufen!
Sobald wir wieder Urlaub auf Fuerteventura machen, möchten wir unbedingt wieder kommen! Hoffentlich bald!!!

Wir waren das erste mal auf Fuerteventura und haben die Ferienwohnung im Internet gefunden. Die Buchung und gesamte Abwicklung mit der Familie Borgemeister war und ist ohne Probleme abgelaufen. Die Wohnung und die Lage ist überragend und es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Wenn nichts dazwischen kommt, werden wir sicherlich nochmal wieder kommen und auch die Wohnung mit bestem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Gerne wieder!!!
