My stay was amazing. Beautiful place. Very friendly and professional staff. Must recommend it to stay there. The only thing is the prices for coffee more expensive compare to the US. $7.50 for two cups of coffee, no refile. They don’t have coffee maker in the room as thy mention when you make the room reservation.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! This is a relatively new property, but it was not lacking in any major aspects. My standard room was very spacious. The staff is very responsive on WhatsApp for any needs from room service to the cleaning service. Since it’s a smaller property, it’s a very intimate vibe. The restaurant was tasty and had reasonable options considering it’s a smaller property. Ubers/taxis may have a hard time picking you up since it’s a new property and in my experience most haven’t heard of it and had trouble finding it. One downside is the beach isn’t swimmable and also the road to the hotel is very rocky and almost undrivable for regular cars so keep in mind that it adds an extra 15-20mins to your driving time just to get off the main access road. If you want an intimate-isolated luxurious vibe for your stay and don’t anticipate on doing much local exploring, then I highly recommend this property.

The layout of exterior is nice, the interior room needs a few updates. Add a bench or luggage rack, plug 🔌 outlets right next to the bed on each side, need kleenex tissue AND face towels. This place has potential but better food options is NEEDED! Add SPA services from a third party and here’s a BIGGER ISSUE… TRANSPORTATION COMING TO HOTEL IS PAINFUL. It over an hour to get an Uber to come this dead zone. The area and roads needs improvement. I won’t come back unless some serious upgrades are made.

Excessive Wait for Basic Service I waited over an hour for a basic breakfast. This is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that markets itself as a premium destination. Discriminatory Treatment I observed a clear disparity in treatment between local guests and white guests. While certain guests received prompt and courteous service, others—including myself—were met with dismissive attitudes and a lack of urgency. This is discriminatory and cannot be tolerated. No Solutions or Apologies When these issues were raised, staff offered no meaningful solutions or genuine apologies. A simple “sorry” without action is not service recovery. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or demonstrate accountability. Overly Restrictive Hotel Rules In addition to these shortcomings, the hotel imposed strict and inflexible rules that negatively impacted the guest experience. Policies should enhance hospitality rather than create unnecessary barriers for paying guests. The fact that the booking was made through a third party is not relevant. The poor service was received at your hotel. Cutting My Stay Short Due to these repeated failures, I cut my stay short by two days. This was not my original plan, but the lack of service and respect left me with no choice. I have written several emails directly and have not received a response.

Really excellent little hotel, top level rooms, staff, pool and beach access. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend. Not much to do activities-wise so bring a book and plan to just chill. Loved it, will be back.

I recently stayed at Cardedeu Residence Cangrejera with a family group of eight, and we booked three rooms. The rooms were amazing, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the pool area was one of the highlights of our stay. There are some areas that could be improved. The restaurant menu is very limited, and the food options that are available are not the best. For a beachfront hotel, it was disappointing that there were no seafood dishes or even simple options like soups. A more complete and higher quality menu would make a big difference. The location is also something guests should be aware of. The road to access the hotel is a long dirt road, and there are no restaurants or conveniences nearby. The beach is not swimmable because the sand drops into a ditch, the waves are strong, and the undercurrent is dangerous. It is also not a pleasant beach for walking since the sand is uneven. Overall, Cardedeu Residence Cangrejera is a very nice place with excellent rooms and great staff, but it is located on a beach that cannot really be enjoyed and the restaurant needs improvement. With a better menu and a more suitable beachfront, it could be an excellent destination.

The property was so beautiful! I booked the king beach from room and I loved it. The room has a modern and beachy esthetics, it was spacious and has everything you'd need. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and hearing the waves coming in was so peaceful. The hotel grounds are well kept, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Looking for a luxury get away, then this is the place to book, I promise you won't regret it. We'll definitely be coming back.
