We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was centrally located a few blocks from the main square. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly and helped getting me a last minute night tour. The breakfast was delicious with good vegetarian options and had a nice outdoor seating area overlooking a stream. We liked chatting in our poco Spanish with our waitress Rachel :) We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again !

Pleasant check in. The included breakfast was good. There were a few ants in the room that dissipated after the first day. The little park and stream at the back of the property was peaceful and we were able to see the sloth in one of the trees. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure.
