The pictures on the website are spectacular, but the hotel itself is very old. My husband had several asthma attacks from the mold. The view is incredible, the staff is lovely, but it was definitely not worth the cost.

It was just extremely dated it looked like the Flintstones designed and decorated it. The pool could be nicer and better tbh, however the view was incredible!! I also believe they can have a nicer and indoor breakfast area; especially because it rains a lot and it was wet and out in the open.

Room was clean but facility is older and rough around the edges. The toilet backed up, the hot water ran out, the lock on the door is flimsy (just a doorknob lock) and overall this place a real budget hotel experience. If I were to visit Arenal again I would definitely stay at a nicer place

The hotel is clean , staff is nice, it is close to arenal national park, Tabacon hot springs, awuwaki (sushi), Raman restaurant, el novillo restaurant, the problem is we are given the room #1 which happens to be room with large gap between the door and its frame on both the top and bottom, we see bugs inside the room. After talking with the front desk, we were able to switch to a different room , room 14 which is clean with great view of the arenal, I would recommend the hotel but not room #1

We appreciated the efforts of the staff, room condition and especially the amazing breakfast. Location is close to everything. The big, and perhaps unfixable problem of at least some of this property is its proximity to a very busy road. Trucks using their engine brakes and motorcycles cruise by at all hours, drowning out the loudest birds and monkeys..interrupting the deepest sleep. We were placed in the row of cabins closer to the road despite being only one of two guest cabins occupying the cabin area—maybe the upper row would have been quieter(?).
