We booked a taxi from the airport through the hotel which never showed up. Just take one of the many local taxis at the airport, they're also much cheaper.
The hotel's location is a bit remote, you should rent a car (expensive though). Nearby Lemuria Resort had closed down and Grand Anse has not much to offer, so you need to go across the entire Island to Anse Volbert for a beautiful beach and excellent restaurants. You can also take a local bus (very cheap) but need to take taxis after 6pm.
Our room was very spacious and the hotel's location is very quiet. Unfortunately the mini-fridge and the aircondition (which barely worked) made a huge noise. Internet worked.
It's nice to take a sunbath at the private beach and to swim in the pool, but the sea had huge waves, so you couldn't swim there safely (there are far better beaches with finer sand and shallow waves on the island).
The breakfast was fine, but the two or three times we tried lunch or dinner at the restaurant we were disappointed. There are much better restaurants at Anse Volbert.
The staff was disappointing - 2 of the 3 people at the reception were arrogant and unfriendly without reason and the waitresses were not motivated and apparently didn't like working there. Sad to see at an expensive 4* hotel.
If you can avoid having any dealings with the staff and rent a car, I think it's a decent hotel to stay, especially if you look for a quiet location.
