We were disappointed with our stay, especially given the price we paid and the expectations set by the listing. Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not match what we anticipated.The floors were sticky, the pillows and bedding were discolored, and much of the furniture and décor felt very old and dated. All of the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the master bed appeared to be broken. My mom ended up sleeping on the couch. Several maintenance issues also stood out, including a broken microwave handle, broken kitchen garbage can, broken toilet paper holder, and ceiling fans that either thumped loudly or only worked with the light on. Water pressure in the shower was very low and the drain did not work properly, causing water to pool.Basic amenities were also lacking. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms, the towels provided were old and mismatched, and the iron listed in the amenities was not available. The kitchen cupboards were also packed with random items, leaving little usable space.The outdoor area also needed attention, with broken furniture, clutter, animal waste present, and overflowing garbage.Overall, the property could benefit from significant cleaning, repairs, and updates to better match the price and expectations for a vacation rental.
