The house overlooks the Plum Creek golf course. Situated on a quiet street, you will be able to enjoy magnificent unobstructed views from the downstairs porch or upstairs balcony. It's a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or your favorite drink at sunset. The house with its southern charm is perfect for a family or an outing with your friends.

Elegant Manor has an open concept living room on the first floor and a gameroom on the second floor. Both rooms have Smart TVs. There is one bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms up. Built in 2015, the home has all the amenities for a wonderful stay. After a day visiting the area attractions, you will enjoy this peaceful and clean atmosphere.
The house is located in a golf course community. The course is open to the public. Restaurants, grocery store and a movie theatre are close by. The community has walking, hiking and biking trails. Catch and release fishing is permitted in the reservoir.

The house is a short drive to many tourist destinations:
12 miles to Austin - Live Music Capital of the World, SXSW, Austin City Limits festival
14 miles to San Marcos - River tubing and Texas State University
15 mile to San Marcos Outlet Malls - 350 stores !!!

Our listing says that number of guests is 16. We have sleeping arrangements for 15, but you could have more guests by bringing your own beddings..

"Absolutely Stunning Stay at The Elegant Manor!
This trip to San Marcos was made extra special thanks to our stay at Carmen’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how gorgeous and spacious the house was. It was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated with charming, elegant touches throughout, and incredibly comfortable for our group of 10 friends though the home could easily accommodate up to 15 people!
The house is tucked away in a peaceful, upscale neighborhood with a serene view overlooking the golf course. Mornings on the patio with coffee and evenings enjoying the calm surroundings were a real treat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, they even complimentary wine and fridge was full of drinks.

"We stayed at elegant manor for a local area wedding. The location in Kyle was very good and easy to get to. Carmen was proactive and gave us all the information that we needed! We were able to check in a little early. The decor was so rich and comfortable! The house was super clean as well. I really appreciated the clear directions everywhere in the house and the manual on the counter. It makes it super easy to ensure that we are doing everything right. My favorite thing about the house was the very comfortable beds and amazing linens. So comfy to sleep in after our events. A bonus for me was the thick curtains in each room. So often BNBs have thin curtains that let too much light in- but these were great! Additionally there was a little welcome gift and complimentary coffee! "Elegant Manor was absolutely gorgeous! My guests and I had a wonderful time in this crystal clean, beautifully decorated home! The curb appeal was amazing and the home sits in a nice, quiet and safe location that offers great restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The backyard was just as nice as the interior. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was my very first stay in a rental home so I didn't know what to expect. Carmen left an instruction manual that was so very helpful and a wonderful idea! Carmen maintained contact with me and walked me through everything step-by-step--but from a distance. She didn't overcrowd me nor was she overbearing. This made the stay that much more pleasant. Because of Carmen, I will utilize short term rental homes moving forward. A few of us decided to stay in an short term rental instead of a hotel—and thankfully, we found this home situated right on the golf course. The convenient location was perfect!! In addition, Carmen and Tom have a home that makes you feel at home! From the pristine landscaping to the elegant decor in the home to the outdoor patios—this house is a COMPLETE package!! "If you think the pictures of Elegant Manor looks nice, just wait until you see this place in person! From the moment of booking, communication was efficient, checking in was simple, house rules were clear, and check out procedures were short and easy. The house is well kept and fully stocked with kitchen ware, hand soap, bath soaps/shampoo and towels. The beds were so comfortable and smelled nice and clean! The balcony is huge with plenty cushion seats for everyone to sit and look out to the golf course. The backyard is super cute and relaxing. She even has really fast wifi to connect to! By booking the property, you are agreeing to the following rules:

No smoking and vaping in the house. Smoking is allowed outside on the front porch, the balcony and the backyard patio.

Extra Guests and Visitors
The current daily rate is for 1 to 6 guests. Addition guest fees apply for bookings over that amount. This is calculated on the VRBO platform. Lowering of the guest count after booking will not decrease the rate. Only the number of registered guests are allowed on the property.This is for the safety of you and your guests. If you plan to bring in visitors, contact the host.
Visitors need prior approval from the host. No overnight guests unless registered with the host.

Extra charges for not following House Rules
-For unregistered people brought on the property that are not on the original booking - $100 per person per day. For example: If you said you were bringing 6 people and brought 8, you will be charged $200 per day.
- Smoking in the house - $400 a day
- Any violations of the house rules may lead to immediate removal from the property and no refund.

The house is monitored by outside security cameras and by people in the neighborhood.

Security cameras - Activity is recorded on the outside of the house. There are no security cameras inside the house. If you block or disable the camera, you and your guests will be asked to leave the house and there will be no refund.

Smoking, vaping, incense burning, deodorizing in the house - $400 a day fee If the guest does not follow the house rules, we have the option to cancel the reservation immediately, you and your guests will be asked to leave the house and there will be no refund.

Since this is a residential community, Quiet Hours are between 11PM and 8AM. As a courtesy to our neighbors, please move your backyard group activities to inside the house after 11PM. Thank you.
