Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Breakfast is included which is a plus and wasnt bad. The room was 2 queen and it had a couch area. The couch looked really dirty and dusty for some reason. So we refrained from using that. Due to ths first impression of the couch we double checked for bed bugs and found none so thats good (id still double check if you stay) over night my wife found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom so that wasnt good and further soured our impression of the room. It was ok for a night or 2 if you dont mind those negatives. Personally ill be staying at a different hotel if i am to visit kyle again though.

The first night my 3 year old son and I got bit by bed bugs. I did report it to the staff and I had to report through Expedia it did take a while for me to reach someone and get out situation fixed!! The blankets did not look clean or as they have been washed they still had stains and had a weird smell.

Well rested

We were there for a night to attend a wedding at The Plat. We arrived late, and the front desk welcomed us and helped us settle for the night. The room was spacious and comfortable. Decent breakfast was available as early as 6 AM. Checkout was easy to attend the wedding.

The parking lot was poorly lit. I asked for a wake up call at 0630. Both days i got called at 0650. My wife tried calling me several times to make sure I was up. No answer to 5 calls. Angela said the night shift clerk was asleep and left before she arrived for work. The bedside alarm clock didn't work as I slept thru whatever noise it was set for. Again I asked for a 0630 wake up call. Again I got it at 0650. The breakfast was typical. Cold scrambled eggs. The butter was extremely frozen and tore the freshly toasted bread. The coffee machine gave just over half a cup. The only good thing was the bed which was very comfortable.
