Welcome to Southern Comfort, a high-end oceanfront retreat in the charming coastal town of Kure Beach, North Carolina. This luxurious five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home sleeps up to 10 guests, making it the perfect escape for large families or groups. Step outside onto the large oceanfront deck featuring cozy bed swings and an outdoor dining area, ideal for watching sunrises or enjoying meals by the sea. The home’s private balconies offer stunning panoramic views, and the outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a day on the sand.

Inside, you’ll find a gourmet kitchen, complete with a reverse osmosis filter system, open living spaces, and upscale finishes. A whole-home water filtration and softener system, along with a reverse osmosis system by the kitchen, ensures premium comfort and convenience throughout your stay. The house is amazing and set up perfectly for families, everyone has their own private spaces and the communal spaces are beautiful and comfortable. Can't beat the views or ease of beach access. HOWEVER, check in was confusing as I was provided a keyless entry code but there was no keyless entry so I had to go to an office after hours to retrieve keys after being hung up on by customer service, who was rude and unhelpful when I was trying to locate said office. Also the complete lack of linenes, extra towels, dish washing supplies etc made it difficult to relax at first and we ended up buying extras and leaving them for the next poor souls. Being so bare bones was kind of astounding for the price point, I have rented many homes in similar price ranges and all had far more extras like towels, blankets, even beach towels etc, so that was utterly disappointing and quite frankly annoying to have to worry about when paying so much.
