It was amazing & the price was by far the best!! We will definitely be coming back. It is right beside the pier, the boardwalk & only a few miles from the Aquarium as well as Fort Fisher. Everything is literally in walking distance.

We had a wonderful view of the ocean and pier!!! Our suite was comfortable and quiet at night. My main problem was climbing the stairs to the third floor. I am awaiting surgery to have a complete right knee replacement. I had to go one step at a time.l

Enjoyed our stay. On our last night we had a small child running in the room above us for about 3 hours. The people was spoke to about it and it finally stopped after 11. Other than that no problems. We will stay there again. Loved the view from beside the pool looking out from the shelter

It was the perfect stay for my family of 6, aged ranging from 1 year to 17 years. Walking distance of the pier, the beach, and a convenience store as well as multiple restaurants. Quick walk to the beach. Place was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Location, location, location. You can’t beat the location of this property. It’s oceanfront and right next to the pier. It’s also right next to several restaurants, a coffee shop, several bars, an ice cream and bagel store…just about anything you could want within a block. I was a little worried that it might be noisy but it wasn’t at all. It’s also only 10-15 minute drive from the shops and boardwalk in Carolina Beach. The property itself is nice…definitely a little older and not fancy, but it was clean and nice. I’ve stayed in much worse. The bed linens were ok. The towels were surprisingly thick and nice. We had a kitchen and it was small and very basic. We were only there a few days so we didn’t plan to cook much. It was fine for us but if you are planning to cook a lot, it would be difficult because there were only basic utensils and pots and pans. Sink was really small but it did have a dishwasher. I would definitely stay there again because of the great location.

My son and I stayed 3 nights for a get-a-way while I’m going through chemo. Our room was perfect, with the most amazing view of the ocean. Loved being able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, besides the aquarium and Fort Fisher historical site.

Wasn't too bad just a couple of issues. The door was really hard to open to the room. Had to kick it or put my weight to it to open. Also was only one chair on the balcony usually two. We like to sit out there and watch the ocean. The carpet was pretty dirty I like to walk in my bare feet but I noticed my feet were black from the carpet

Loved everything! Have stayed here several times and always very pleased. Staff is awesome and very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious room, beds are very comfortable and the small kitchen was a plus! Location is the BEST...right on the ocean and plenty of parking; nice pool also. And within a few minutes walk to the Kure beach pier, (great little gift shop on the pier), Jack Mackerel's restaurant (best seafood around), & convenience store right across the street! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

We really looked forward to our stay here. The price was decent and had a second bedroom for our kiddo. Being oceanfront was awesome even though the weather wasn’t good and there was ample parking. The location was an easy walk to food and a shopping area. The property itself is old and it shows. The condition of the property is meh at best. Our room was on the 3rd floor which I would not have booked had we known that was the case for the 2 bedroom rooms. The room itself wasn’t very clean and really just not up to par with the photos or price. It was a studio room with 1 bedroom, not 2 actual bedrooms. The curtains and sheets were not clean (will share in photos) and the window a/c was very loud. A 3 star rating might be too much honestly but the location was worth it.
Surface stains on the sheets, I couldn’t bear to take a photo of the bottom sheet it was so disgusting.
Mold on the curtains.
Didn’t even hang a curtain set in the bedroom? They had 1 panel up that didn’t cover the window and let a lot of light in all night.
