After you have explored Koso-ri, why don't you explore a bit further afield? The South Jeolla area has plenty of other attractions waiting to be explored. South Jeolla has beaches, coastal plains, rivers and mountains, along with common South Jeolla tourist sights like the castles and traditional villages. Adventurous types can also go mountain climbing, hiking and picnicking.

If you'd like to explore some close by localities, check out Mokpo and Samho. Journey 45 kilometres to the east from Koso-ri and you'll find Mokpo. That said, Samho is 45 kilometres to the east.
