Very worn down, stained carpet, shower plates falling off, too much light in room at night due to red and blue lights on TV, outlets, and AC, garbage outside window, very small room, wore out towels. Quiet at night, great location to everything, staff friendly and helpful.

Marko Polo

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.good choice at breakfast. Excellent pool. The only negative was the layout of the bedroom, the only TV was in the living area but has no where comfortable to sit, just 2 hard chairs. Would be nice to have a sofa facing the TV, or one in the bedroom.

The staff was very nice, but not very helpful at times. I asked for our two twins to be pushed together + a rollaway so my husband and I could sleep comfortably. It took 2 days to accomplish and they seemed extremely confused by the request. In the end we got the extra bed but they left the two twins separated and my husband still slept with feet hanging off the bed. AC did not work well and we were very hot while sleeping. Asked for a fan and was told it’s not possible except if we ask in the morning. The young lady at the coffee stand was really sweet and friendly! She made our stay. Property just seems dated, but it’s very close to town and the port so we were happy overall.

Great stay at Marko Polo hotel staff could not do enough for you. All very friendly lovely pool clean rooms great service. Would definitely return. Perfect location for exploring Korcula.

Great hotel

Such a great hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but the location, pool and staff more than makes up for that. Big selection of food at breakfast and staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool is such a great facility. It’s not a huge pool but the space is big so never felt crowded and has great views over the town. Would definitely stay again.

The property was modern and clean, with an efficient and friendly staff. Our room was in the annex building, with a comfortable bed and an average bathroom (shower setup not great, and hard to keep the floor dry with handheld nozzle). The pool area was a very welcome addition, as was the somewhat cramped gym. A quick five minute walk to Old Town was an easy way to see it.

The best experience with help from Mr. Nick (Crazy Nick) he will set your whole day and evening up with ideas for you and your family and friends that will make it the best time ever from experiencing the old village with food that is out of this world in a setting that feels like you are in a place that is only in fairy tales. Tired hotel in a great location. Room dark and tatty. Parkview was a view of a dirty roof with rubbish on it. Major roof leaks throughout hotel during heavy rainstorms. Staff helpful and polite. Breakfast ok. Nice pool area and views but hotel really needs an upgrade.

Great spot to stay! The staff was excellent and always willing to help. Great advice on things to do. They have parking for you if you rent a car. All local businesses and taxis were very helpful and reasonably priced. Hotel pool was nice, they have live music some nights. Buffets for breakfast and dinner were good, and you can get fresh squeezed orange juice from the bar!

The service and staff at the hotel were exemplary. Genuinely friendly and attentive. Fantastic views over the port and Old Town. The only issue is that the hotel is looking a little tired and in need of a refurb as the decor is dated, carpets in need of a deep clean and pool fountains/hot tubs disconnected or not working. For the same price, we basically had a choice between a larger suite with a great view/balcony here or a smaller room in a modern hotel nearby with a view of a bush. We made the right choice though - the views of the old town are great. As a base for the island, this was great value for money.
