I would have preferred if you had told me that you were doing construction everywhere before I booked TWO rooms for 4 adults. Noisy flapping white tarps and ZERO views from any of the windows of BOTH rooms I rented.

it is a great property, but while the advertisement said a restrauant, it was not working and a big problem to go down the steep hill to town which did not have any great restrauants.

Nice place.

Nice views of the area. Hotel was nice and good breakfast. Be aware that if yiu have alot of luggage that you can not drive the car to reception. So you will need to carry your baggage from the car park. No problem fir myself but may cause issues to ither people.

Veldig stilig med overnatting pĆ„ gammel festning. Vi hadde familierom for 4 gjester, men sovesofa hadde ingen god madrass. StĆ„lfjƦrer gikk nesten igjennom madrassen. Veldig lytt imellom rommene. Blide og imĆøtekommende ansatte. Litt stusselig frokost med noen varer som hadde gĆ„tt over dato.

Fantastisk lokasjon og mye historie som fungere som et spennende alternativ til et mer tradisjonelt hotell. Negative: Problemer med visse strĆømuttak som ikke fungerte. Samt det var fullt for middag (julebord) men vi ble ikke informert ved innsjekk. Endte med at vi mĆ„tte ned til Kongsvinger for middag/kvelds. Heldigvis hadde vi bil, men greit Ć„ informere gjester sĆ„ tidlig sĆ„ mulig mtp smĆ„barn osv.
