Missing this place already, lovely welcome. Fab food. Aloe massage on the white sandy beach 2 mins away after my morning swim. All the busyness of Chaweng at the other end of the lane, include Pride bar or Alpha gay resort a ten minute walk. In the room I couldn’t hear a thing other than the occasional plane. Even liked the retro decor. At £15 a night with an Expedia discount, this was incredible value for money given the location.

Amazing stay in a lovely quiet family run hotel away from the noise of Chaweng. We were upgraded to a premium room by the owner which was such a lovely gesture and showed how well the family look after their guests. We have visited Rattana many times and are always impressed by the kindness and welcome from the family and all the staff. A little oasis , with a lovely pool, tucked away between the beach and the main street. Spotlessly clean. Amazing food and service.

Excellent value for money property. Pool was quiet, lovely gardens and clean, sun-beds need cushions to be more comfortable. Limited facilities in rooms but they were adequate and clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. Cheap restaurant with good food plus a small shop. This is a very economical resort and you pay for what you get so don’t expect a high end resort at a budget price.

The location is great. Beach,restaurants, nightlife, travel,info..everything within a few minutes walk. Swimming pool on site. Staff are delightful...so friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced. We simply couldn't have enjoyed are stay any more. Even the mosquitoes left us alone.
