Looking for Fred and Barney?

I loved this little place . So quirky! It’s like Bedrock meets psychedelic 80’s.Love all the abstract lights and all the nooks and crannies. Staff are all excellent and managed by a great Finnish couple who even took me to the pier for my ferry when I was leaving. Great breakfast too with proper good coffee to kickstart your day. I will definitely recommend Pandora!

Cozy personal hotel with everything you need

This hotel is very small with just 16 rooms. It gives you the feel of a Guesthouse stay. Relaxd and inviting. Run by a happy couple from Finland. On the north end of Chaweng beach away from the big party scene but only by 1 kilometer. Big perks are beach access right across the street, a nice kid friendly pool and even a sauna (very rare in Thailand.) All charges can be put to your room until checkout. Motorbike rental on site WITH NO NEED TO HOLD PASSPORT.... this is a big plus if you need to exchange money after renting your motorbike. We had a great stay and will return again next time

Good location

Hotel is within good location only 10 minute drive from airport and opposite Chaweng beach through another hotel cut through also about 15 minute walk into town. Room was nice and big the bed being particularly comfortable. Downside of room shower never got hot enough and WiFi was not very reliable.

Hidden Gem in Northern Chaweng

Pandora is a really nice boutique hotel located at the northern end of Chaweng. I must admit their reception area did not impress me that much but when I entered the property and had a look at my room - it was all above my expectations. They have a really nice restaurant which is adjacent to a cute little plunge pool in the middle of the set up. We had booked a standard room which was spacious, had good cushioned mattress and a cosy washroom with a shower. Though they don't provide any toiletries - you can hardly complain with the cheap room tariff. Overall had a great stay for 2 nights. Also I have a message for the management - I may have forgotten to clear a restaurant bill as we checked out in a rush fearing we'd miss our bus. Please let me know how do I pay you for that and I sincerely apologise for the invonvenience. Thanks.

Not your typical tropical resort : )

Super friendly staff, quirky room and pool! We picked the place because it was near the beach without being ON the beach. It's close enough to walk to the busier area of Koh Samui in the Chaweng beach area. Good food, good drinks, good area! The owner and the staff were very nice people and made us feel right at home.

Very nice big room, beautiful resort and very friendly owner. He gives you all info and help you need and advices. The also give you free beach towels. The hotel is in calm neibourghood not far away from main road with restaurants, shops and bars.

Nice but understaffed

The hotel is in an excellent location with a beautiful beach just across the street. Even though is right next to a main street with lots of traffic, rooms are quiet. During our stay it felt understaffed (probably because it was low season) as just one girl had to be at the reception, rent bikes, serve tables, among others. However she was always attentive and efficient. DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE MAPS TO GET TO THE HOTEL!! We had a big argument with a taxi driver due to this. The location of the hotel on Google Maps website is 10 minutes from the actual place. While we were looking for the hotel we tried to call the reception but no one answered (the cause was the aforementioned multitask personnel)

Great service, Yanek and the team did everything they can to make us feel good. Our room above the spa was simply stunning. Highly recommended. Note: Some taxi drivers may confuse Pandora with Bandara (another property whose name sounds similiar in Thai) so make sure they take you to the correct place.

Lovely quirky hotel. Nice pleasant staff. Decent breakfast. Not on the beach but only 2 minute walk. You can use the Internet on a the large screen TV in your room. Only negative is the pool area is tiny & there is no chance of sunbathing there.
