First time I have given a hotel 5 stars. Absolutely amazing! Very family friendly, staff were so helpful and friendly, great breakfast and amenities. First comfy bed in Asia, really great gym and all areas and our rooms were kept extremely clean. Cannot thank the staff enough for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Everything was excellent, from the level of service, the location, the courtesy, the rooms, the comfort of the bed, and I will mention a very important detail that surprised me. I asked room service if it was possible to clean the room at 7:00 PM because we forgot to press the room cleaning button that was in red all day, and they immediately agreed and did so.

The room was very spacious and modern. We had a great view of the pool and a peek at the sea. The pool was great, with a swim up bar. Thr location, in the Fishermans Village, was great. There were markets most nights, lots of restaurants and lovely safe beach.

Very noisy hotel! Also changed the beach area of the hotel area to tables and chairs! Started gardening and cutting down trees while we were sunbathing in that area! No consideration whatsoever to who was there! Closed bar area outside before it was time, when it was happy hour! I ordered drinks and was refused 15 minutes before it was supposed to close!

A mixed stay at Holiday Inn Bophut

Pros: Staff were all lovely, very clean, great family suites with bunk beds, gorgeous grounds, great food and drinks, lots to do especially for younger kids with splash park, play park and kids club activities, plus easy walking access to Fishermans night market. The hotel Circus night was super fun. Cons: During peak times we found this hotel to be busy /loud & a bit chaotic - especially around the pool/splash park and at breakfast. During our stay the hotel was dominated by many groups from another nationality, we witnessed rude behaviour towards staff on several occasions and often, the kids were running around unsupervised which impacted our experience a bit - Overall it was a good stay but not 100% sure we would stay again.
