Not even if it was free....

Let me start by saying the staff at the reception desk was wonderful. That said, they were the only positives to this place. Great location on the water, however, you have to cross the sandy beach to get there. NOT comfortable if you have luggage as it is extremely hot, even during the cooler weather season. It doesn't help that there isn't a sign identifying it as a Nomads hostel either. There is a sign in Thai and it mentions something else in English, but not the name you reserved .The conditions of the room were poor at best. There is no electricity between 8am and 5pm, which is not true across the island as I wound up leaving within an hour of checking in to switch to a different accommodation and they had electricity all day. The shower was working (barely above a trickle of water) and then quit all together. There is no one at the reception desk after 8pm so if you have any problems you are on your own. Koh Phi Phi is very quiet and isolated so if anything serious happened you would be left to go to a neighborhing hotel and ask them for help. I would not stay here - even if the rate is reasonable.
