With white sand beaches and a mountainous interior, the island boasts plenty of natural beauty but unlike plenty of other Thai islands tourism is still on a relatively small scale. This allows you to enjoy your Koh Kood resort without the intruding noise of backpacker partying or loud late nights.

If you're looking for a simple holiday without distractions, a holiday that allows you to escape modern life then look no further. Highlights of Koh Kood include swimming, enjoying the sun, listening to nature, reading your book and taking it easy. Klong Chao is the main beach but if you want to discover the very nicest beaches, perhaps some of the best in the country, head to the remote Ao Jark and Ao Prao. The key to High Season resort is its incredible beach front location and the really well designed and build pool villas. The rustic and lush exotic gardens give you a sense of relaxation. It was getting close to low season, so the staff seemed to be a bit slowed down. For a 5 star resort, we expected a bit more enthusiasm from the beach staff. Like bringing cold water on hot days and tending the beach lounges. Other than that, everyone else from front desk to room upkeep and service was great.
