The last 3 days of our South Africa trip were spent at Mount Knysna Hotel. A stunning location backed up by 5* accommodation with staff and service to match. If you’re ever in this wonderful part of The Cape I truly recommend a stay at this property. You’ll be impressed

Highly attentive staff, personalised service without being intrusive. Excellent meal, went out of their way to cater for dietary needs. Very specific advice on things to do and see which made our stay.

Designer hotel lacking services

A beautiful hotel with fabulous views of the Indian Ocean and coast. Small and intimate with lovely rooms and large bathrooms containing molton brown products. Catering side is patchy though and there are no services in the evening when the staff go home. Lacking in atmosphere and slightly claustrophobic . Prices are high for what is essentially a serviced villa in a remote residential area. No room service in the evening.
