Disappointing stay - way overpriced

This place looks way better than it is based on drone photos and showing their newer units. It is way over priced for what you get. Low grade, old units, with very basic breakfast.

The room was a good size, admittedly the set up in the en-suite was different. We had a lovely view and the bed was comfortable. We had a very enjoyable dinner in the restaurant, however the breakfast was a little basic (a plate with 2 slices of different bread, 2 slices of cheese, a hard boiled egg, a croissant, a boxed orange juice, a optional piece of ham, butter etc.), however there was unlimited coffee. Having compared the prices of this guesthouse with nearby hotels, it was a lot cheaper which might explain the basic breakfast.

This guesthouse was a nice stay. Even with the shared bathroom situation, it was still enough privacy to feel comfortable. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.

The building has a strange configuration and lots of stairs. Overall it quite clean and comfortable. There is a fabulous restaurant kjarr just a few feet away which serves yummy lamb chops. We checked out quite early and the lady at the hotel restaurant packed our breakfast to go! How nice was that. Thank you!!!

Weather was beautiful so we never used the spa. Great breakfast. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant for dinner because of cost but really thought about it. It had a great-looking tasting menu for the whole table, but we were tired and starving and chose another place in town.

Bed was horrible I couldn’t sleep at all because of bedsheets has lots of bubbles and I felt like bedbugs I was itching all night next day when I asked about different rooms and explained manager Is very rude seems like he doesn’t care at all and have attitude he was saying it’s like that always if want to leave I can but they don’t give me any refund please I never recommend this guesthouse to anyone

We loved this place. Serene. Check-in was a breeze. The room is a little small for 4, but it worked for our needs. Loved having a washer/dryer available (we’ve been traveling with a storm the entire trip and needed to wash/dry clothes!). Very friendly dog on site!

We were a family of 3 adults in Rm 57. Basically newly renovated room, super clean and spacious. The private bathroom was clean, and nice. Breakfast included was nutritious and good, people nice. Super location, but we could not take advantage of it due to the bad weather, however , the lake on top looks spectacular in other pictures. I would recommend the guesthouse to anyone.
