I wanted to love this place but didn't. I think we were the wrong demographic (retired seniors) as i believe this would appeal more to younger, more social crowd. Our room, advertised as king mountain view indeed had a living area and a king bed up in a loft. It was nicely maintained. But the windows were dirty so the view ( which should have been magnificent!) was obscured. Also we were there on a Tuesday night in late October (leaf peeping) and discovered the onsite restaurant was closed Monday & Tuesday. Poor research on our part but noting in case others are thinking of coming early in the week.

We stayed here during our honeymoon in the Catskills. We had a lovely stay. I only wish that there were more dining options at the hotel during the time we stayed. The bar and restaurant isn’t opened during weekdays and the breakfast didn’t have protein options.

Everything went great! Just one thing - I booked a room relying on the given pictures. It was showing mountain view which is why I selected it. Unfortunately upon arrival we were placed in the room with an opposite side view. Lady at the front desk said nothing was available on the other side (with the view).

Really comfortable stay. Room was large, bed was nice. We stayed in a room with a patio and loved that we could just walk right outside and take in the view and wander around. The location was good, a relatively short ride to several hiking spots and attractions.

This was a great place for my extended family to gather. There are two spacious common rooms. It’s in a beautiful location. I love the rooms with the two sets of queen bunkbeds. It feels like home away from home.

The whole lodge is classy including the rooms. Beds were pretty soft however but only slept there one night so it was ok. Was pleasantly surprised they had free breakfast which was in a beautiful room with a lit fireplace. Breakfast was coffee, muffins, fresh fruit, and a variety of bagels. The bagels were tasty! Would definitely stay here again!
