Clean and quiet room that was spacious for a family of 3. Having a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning was also a treat and made this hotel a best value in the beautiful Hudson area.

I loved the amenties and the pet friendliness, but I was right by the door so around 2 am I was startled by two men who were locked out who kept yanking and banging on the door. it also filled my personal room with smoke being near the door.

It’s been renovated but still looks a bit run down. Hallways are dark. Restaurant downstairs served my food with a live bug in it. Room had a bug on the bed. Maid service is not daily bathtub didn’t drain properly. Very slow. Very dark decor.

Paid $600 for a two night stay. Layout of the rooms is extremely confusing and honestly a little scary if there was a fire. Upon entering our room, found garbage had not been emptied after prior guest. Daughter got stuck in bathroom first night- doorknob lock defective. Came back from being out first day and they had deactivated our keys. AC units in hallways were extremely noisy. Hallways are dark and dreary. Entire property needs updating. Positive note was breakfast was decent and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend using Expedia to anyone. I had a family emergency and have used Expedia in the past with no cancellations and due to the horrible customer service and greed of best Western in Kingston NY they are trying to denied my refund. I would not recommend anyone using Expedia or staying at the best western ny. Just pay the extra money and stay at at another hotel. Expedia has minimal to no say and the insurance you pay for is bush league
