Close Cottage - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Close Cottage is a newly extended and renovated coastal cottage ideally located within walking distance of the sea and some great places to eat and drink. A fabulous new light and airy kitchen/dining area has been created with bifold doors opening out to the enclosed garden. The cottage is warm and comfortable throughout the year and has a lovely spacious sitting room with a wood burner, as well as a handy utility room - a perfect sleeping space for dogs staying. Upstairs there are three newly decorated bedrooms each with their own newly fitted bath/shower room, making this an ideal holiday house for three couples or a family. Outside is a fully enclosed south facing garden, with a picnic bench, plus the advantage of an EV charger for guests to use and plenty of parking space outside.
Ground Floor
There is underfloor heating downstairs.
Entrance is via the back garden into the newly created kitchen/dining area with bifold doors to the garden.
Kitchen/dining area: a high quality fitted kitchen with integral Bosch appliances; fridge/freezer, dishwasher, drinks fridge and washer/dryer. There's a single wall oven with integrated grill, halogen hob, air fryer, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine, plus a breakfast bar with bar-stools. The dining area has a table with six chairs and a fitted bench seat for enjoying the sunshine from the garden. The kitchen leads directly through into the sitting room.
Sitting Room: has ceramic oak tiled flooring and a wood-burning stove. Furnished in a contemporary style with two new sofas, coffee table, new 55" Smart TV and a well-stocked bookcase. At the far end is a workspace with a fold away desk by the window, with direct cabling for the internet. There's also an armchair and stool.
Utility/Boot Room: is a convenient place to keep the dog after a run on the beach. Has a bench seat with shoe storage, coat rack, a washing machine and a fold away clothes airer.
Cloakroom: with hand basin and WC.
The cottage has all new windows with shutters which may be split to provide full or partial privacy. Throughout the cottage there is Wifi. Downstairs there are ceiling mounted Bluetooth speakers.
First Floor
The stairs are not steep and there is a hand rail. All the bedrooms are newly decorated and all the bath/shower rooms have been newly fitted in 2025.
Bedroom 1: a lovely room with a zip-linked super king-size bed (please request if you wish to have set up as twin beds), bedside tables and lamps, wall-mounted smart "The Frame" Samsung TV, a built-in wardrobe, hair dryer and a clothes rail.
En-suite shower room 1: contemporary walk-in shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: with glimpses of the sea! Has a king-size bed with storage drawers underneath, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and clothes hooks.

Although there is no dedicated off-street parking, there is unrestricted parking available at the side and the back of the cottage.

The attractive small rear garden is south facing and fully enclosed, making it secure for small children and dogs. The garden has been decked throughout and has outside furniture and a charcoal barbecue.
There's a handy tiled in washing station for boots, sandy feet, dogs and sailing gear, as well as a retractable washing line.
It is a short walk to the harbour at Brancaster Staithe - perfect for sailors and walkers. The relaxed Jolly Sailor pub and the highly acclaimed White Horse are within a short walk.
