a delightful last minute stay

a short weekday visit success. I booked my visit last minute and was very pleased with my experience. the staff were friendly and eager to help. the restaurant had a good menu and the spirits distilled on premises were a nice surprise. they offer a shuttle service to the mountain on demand and is just 2 minutes away from snowshed lodge. i’d book again for the convenience and value. i also picked up a bottle of their whiskey blend to give as a gift. overall great stay.

Rooms are relatively attractive, redone not too long ago. No lobby or seating outside of room. Walls and ceiling extremely thin - lots of noise from neighbors. Also, place welcomes dogs, so allergies likely a problem, and dog barking an issue. Restaurant was better than I expected, a good dinner. Breakfast buffet is well presented, standard fare, coffee is terrible. Woman who checked us in couldn't have cared less about her job, but gentleman in morning was very helpful and friendly.

Can’t wait to be back

Came here to ski at Killington resort and had a great time. They have an “on call” shuttle that brings you right to the snowshed lodge, which is very quick and convenient. The bus driver said that they operate everyday during ski season, but the availability varies outside of the winter. There’s also a great heated pool that felt relaxing after a long day of skiing. Also a large locker room for ski equipment that fits all of your ski stuff, including the skis and poles. Also loved having a gym onsite- nothing fancy, but had everything I’d need. I wish there were more “hot” options for breakfast. There were a lot of great pastries, cereals, bagels, etc, but only had hard boiled eggs and oatmeal at the buffet. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again!
