Nice Hotel

The hotel was clean. Staff were top notch beyond exceptional for everything. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. There is a small health club attached to the hotel that you can use. They have a pool and that turned out to be really nice. It's included. We didn't eat there but did have a drink. They are pricey. Location is good not great for getting around. Taxi service is easy. This was a last-minute book as we cancelled another reservation. It was a little bit pricey, but I believe that's because it was last minute. Overall, a great stay.

The River Lee is the place to be!!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday in Cork and choosing the River Lee Hotel exceeded her expectations!! Our room had an exceptional view of the city overlooking the river, and was very comfortable. The staff made our stay memorable, especially the service in the lounge after we attended a show in town.

The hotel is great. We had a spacious room with a river view. We received a very warm welcome and the bars and restaurants are all stylish with good food and a great atmosphere. I want to give it five stars but the main reason I haven't is because we couldn't sleep because the room was so hot. We booked the hotel specifically because it had air conditioning but the air conditioning in the room did not work. It was running, but inadequate. The river sides of the hotel are glass so I felt like a green banana in a greenhouse. Two nights with no sleep is tough. Such a shame because otherwise, the hotel is fabulous.
