Outrageous to charge extra $55 on arrival if want early check in despite plenty of available rooms. No major hotels do this at desk. When I politely asked, they shrugged and said I can wait and check in at 4. For these prices, plus another $60/night “resort fee” that gets you nothing (pool towels and phone calls on landline!). Pick somewhere more inviting and customer friendly as plenty of great choices around.
