Old and not well unkept. No ac and it was hot when we were there. Breakfast is trash. Lots of vagrants around after dark. Wouldn’t recommend. A lot of nicer places around. I’d pass on this one unless it’s the only thing available. Won’t be staying here again.

Hottel Gal was very unhelpful, I got in early requested to check in early and was told I couldn't when i checked the internet site it showed that she could have checked me in. I ended up sitting in lobby for 4 hours. Overall, the place was not very well kept. Room was rundown, and musty. Bathroom hasn't been fixed up in a decade, lots of stains and worn-out floors, tub, and room in general was low budget. Very noisy, from guests, car alarms going off. Was the worst place I have stayed in a long time.

I love the location, it's right next to a mall, with grocery store, and there is a sporting goods store and restaurants within walking distance. Staff accidentally left a window open and the floor was soaked for sever feet. Inside the room. Staff were friendly and tried to dry it.

Comfortable, convenient, and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Ketchikan, Alaska. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom also was clean and had great set up for handicapped persons. The price was reasonable, and you could pay a bit extra for early check in and late check out which helped us a lot.

Definitely the best price for hotels in the area, but not necessarily the best location. Easy access to McDonald's and Papa Johns, which share the parking lot, but there are no ACs in the building. While that isn't normally such a bad thing in Alaska, the homeless people living in the parking lot made it feel quite sketchy to live the window open to ensure fresh air. Only one person on duty at a time while we were there, so limited help from the staff. The value in what you will pay is definitely the award-winning attribute at this location.

The property is in dire need of refurbishment. Breakfast was very poor. Surrounding area is a bit rough although there is a supermarket nearby. Free buses around the area stop just outside. The staff were absolutely fabulous - incredibly helpful.
