Liked the area, it was close to everything. They posted that the street to the hotel was going to be closed Sunday morning at 8am until 6pm in the elevator in German only. Had to get to a cruise Sunday afternoon, thank goodness for Google Translate. No heads up when we checked in.

Good value and location

Easy access via Bus 25 from Hbf, up 3 stops to Schroederplatz, and then Motel One is right there and also very close to the Kropeliner Tor and the main shopping district and old town. Although my room directly faced towards the Christmas markets and the children’s rides across the street, I barely heard the noise from my room. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, no complaints. I do wish there was a coffee/tea maker in my room; however. Overall, good value and location.

Wonderful hotel

Everything was great, very welcoming stuff, great room, super clean, nice view and you cannot ask for a better location. The city center and all the shopping facilities are 2-5 minutes away, trams in all directions in front of the hotel. In under 30 minutes you can be at the beach in Warnemünde. I will definitely book this hotel again.

Could be more helpful...

They didn't have room in the parking garage, but the second garage was open. It only takes CASH. Was not prepared for this and asked for help from the front desk. They were not very helpful at all... had to find a cash machine and/or bank... asked them how do we pay... not helpful. Luckily found some nice strangers in the garage who were very helpful explaining to us what to do and how...
