Enjoy the beautiful ever changing scenery from the accommodation and stroll the many footpaths of this picturesque area, or for serious walkers there is the challenge of the Kentmere Horseshoe. Visit Haweswater, Troutbeck, Long Sleddale, and the whole of the Lake District can be easily reached by car. Staveley, 4 miles, has ample shopping, tea shops and pubs serving meals. Fishing permits can be bought for Kentmere and mountain bike hire is also available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Perfect
Spacious, well appointed. everything we needed, and the owner was a perfect blend of friendliness and yet respect. He gave us great advice and was just brilliant.
The views are stunning, and every day a joy to open the curtains (whatever the weather). Didn't want to leave.
