Motel 6 - accommodation in Kemp

Stayed at this property for a family weekend getaway. It was a great experience. Amazing lakeview, creating great scenic and peaceful environment. Lake is not deep until the end of the dock and kids could play there. Kayaking was fun in the area for the whole group. House was remodeled and looks great and was big. Plenty spaces for the kids and had board games to play with. Comfortable seating, couch and beds were comfortable. Patio on the second floor was nice. Kitchen spaces on each floor were something different and nice. This is actually a treehouse, a huge pine tree through the house. Rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean, fresh adequate towels. The front entrance, back and upstairs patio, driveway, sidewalks are covered with pine needles, due to the big trees surrounding the area. Outdoors table and chairs have dirt and spider webs which would need a little cleaning before using. The area around the firepit was not cleanly mowed and there are fire-ants, have to be careful sitting down for a long time. Overall, we had a fun weekend and enjoyed the stay. Memorable time, loved the house, and lake.

The property was the perfect space for our group. We had a joint bachelor / bachelorette party and it was great. It was easy to get to town but still was secluded enough for a relaxing time. We loved hanging out by the pool and got so much use out of the poker / game table. Would definitely recommend this property for a large group or gathering! There were plenty of amenities! We wish we could’ve enjoyed the pool and the fire pit but it was too warm in Texas summer for that. But the property was equipped and ready for us!!

House was immaculate and clean. A/C worked incredibly well. Jeff answered questions quickly and is pet friendly. Check-in was a breeze even with a same day booking.
