Fairytale Christmas Destination

The property was everything we could have wanted - very clean, comfortable beds, generous amount of cooking utensils, warm and cosy and in an amazing location. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Lage gut, Haus unzureichend

Die Kommunikation mit Booking Alsace ist sehr schwierig. Geantwortet wird erst nach mehreren Aufforderungen und nicht zeitnah. Das Haus Aux7 Forgerons, Kaysersberg liegt sehr gut mitten in Kaysersberg. Das Haus war allerdings sehr unsauber, was Staub in jedem Raum betrifft, Spinnweben überall und ein intensiver Geruch von Öl im Küchenbereich durch den offenen Abgang in den Keller.Dieses hat uns äusserst gestört. Die Ausstattung ist gut, die Aufteilung über mehrere Etagen allerdings nur für Leute, die gut Treppen steigen können. Das Parken ist in der Nähe sehr teuer (35 € pro 8 Stunden/Tag), die angekündigten günstigeren Parktickets lt.Hausbuch, gibt es nicht mehr nach Anfrage an BookingAlsace. Für eine Vermietung von Ferienwohnungen im Stadtbereich ist dies nicht akzeptabel. Das Tourismusbüro verweist auf mögliche Parktickets an den Vermieter. Alles in allem ist in Kaysersberg selber ein schöner Aufenthalt möglich, das Haus ist jedoch nur eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Ein verfrorenes Wochenende ohne Parkplatz mit Müllproblem

Die Ferienwohnung war nicht geheizt (Heizkörper waren nicht aufgedreht). Es ist am ersten Abend nicht mehr warm geworden (vermutlich Nachtabsenkung). Statt einer gemütlichen Geburtstagefeier konnten wir nur in dicken Jacken beisammen sitzen. Entgegen der Information in der Anzeige und im Hausbuch gab es keinerlei Parkplätze und wir mussten weit entfernt von der Ferienwohnung parken. Voucher für die nahegelegenen kostenpflichtigen Parkplätze gab es nicht. Im Hausbuch beschrieben Müllsäcke waren nicht vorhanden. Der Telefonsupport konnte nur Französisch und hat gefragt, ob wir die Heizkörper hochgedreht haben. Es wäre auch kaum möglich gewesen das Haus in angemessener Zeit aufzuwärmen, weil die Mauern komplett ausgekühlt waren. Fe-Wo Direkt fühlt sich nicht mehr zuständig, da wir dort am Wochenende nicht angerufen haben. Dazu gab es auch keine Veranlassung, da wir ja Kontakt zum Vermieter hatten. Fe-Wo Direkt verweist auf die Nutzungsbedingungen und stiehlt sich so aus der Verantwortung. Georg Clewing
