The staff is very friendly and are helpful. The courtyard makes the place and the restaurant has great food. Breakfast was great too with many western and Asian options. The room was average with all that you would need. The only negative was the bathroom. Cracking paint and tub, mould and just looks poor. I am sure some rooms are better. It was clean at least for the most part but it does bring the hotel quality down.

It’s an ideal place to stay in Kathmandu. Right in the middle of Thamel, so you’re right by the restaurants, bars and attractions but it’s off the street so is delightfully peaceful and quiet. All the staff were polite and efficient, breakfast was great- I got an excellent freshly made omelette snd coffee. The gentlemen who make them were both fantastic and deserve extra praise. Someone kindly carried my bag for me and they hired a comfortable and clean cab for me.

İ enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room had all the basics I needed. The receptionist was amazingly helpful, and the service staff at the restaurant were very good. The breakfast was plentiful and omelets delicious. If I ever return to Kathmandu, I’ll definitely stay at this hotel.

I recommend

Well located in the Kathmandu busy downtown district of Thamel, we enjoyed the staff superbe smiles and warm welcome. The hotel provides driver services for day long custom trips and airport transportation in recent car or minivan at a very reasonable cost. And the breakfast buffet as a good choice of food for everyone.

Exactly what we look for on our trips. A very good price/quality hotel in a busy location to enjoy the city we are visiting. Good size room, clean, the only negative side is the bathroom is under our North American expectations. Breakfast was perfect and we could enjoy it outside in a nice garden area.

The Nirvana Boutique Hotel is a little oasis in the middle the Thamel area of Kathmandu!! Their outdoor garden courtyard is the perfect place to relax with your meal or a drink after a busy day out! The staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful, friendly and warm! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! I would highly recommend the Nirvana Boutique hotel!!
