First of all, the property manager, Atakan, was amazing. He was attentive to our needs and ameliorated a couple of issues we had. I reluctantly must list some negatives about our rental experience. First and foremost (listing has since been updated) the listing stated that there was a washer AND dryer. There was NO dryer. The only thing at the house was a rusted drying rack that had been sitting outside all winter and dripped rusty water when we tried to used it. Why was this such a problem? We were on a 2-week vacation and I literally planned and packed around the fact that we would have both a washer and a dryer in Kalkan. Atakan supplied us with a newer drying rack but I spent many hours trying to dry clothes outside, moving them in and out with the rainfall. We had to use hairdryers! Such a waste of precious time we had while there and I'm still livid about the misleading listing. While my kids were making memories in the pool, I was praying we'd get the clothes washed and dried enough for the next leg of our journey.The pool is only heated if you pay an EXTRA 100, just so you know. Honestly, we were fine with that, but had we known there wasn't a dryer, we would not have booked the property.The view is splendid. The kitchen is very well stocked. 5 min drive to Kalkan groceries, restaurants etc . Home is sparsely decorated at best and does not have a very homey feel to it. Needs rugs and decor. We rent fairly often and I feel compelled to be honest in my reviews.
