We can now look forward to summer in Kaprun and its glacier, mountains, and many other attractions, winter, spring, summer and autumn.

A recent guest has described it as a nice apartment, everything you need is available and that inside it's a quiet place.

We have been told that it's great that the apartment has a balcony. Let's hope you can stay and enjoy the views. Recent guests have said that everything they needed was in walking distance. They have also confirmed that it was a good location. Other guests have said the price was great and that both our apartments were clean.

Our holiday accommodation is in an ideal central location for a holiday in the Austrian Alpine Kaprun spring, summer, autumn and winter. You can look forward to a fantastic holiday.

The beautiful village of Kaprun has plenty of activities to suit everyone. As well as skiing, these activities include boat trips on nearby Lake Zell, ice rink, indoor pool, Kaprun Castle, lidos, museum Tauern Spa, all year skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and the city of Salzburg is less that 90 minutes away by car.

There is also plenty of skiing available in Kaprun village and Zell am See during the winter. The ski lifts in the village centre are walking distance and are open throughout the winter season. Holidays are always fun in the beautiful Alpine village of Kaprun.

Our guests always comment on how much they enjoy all the things there are to do in the snow and the sun. It is close to all major attractions in Kaprun, including shops, restaurants and bars.

Kaprun is at the heart of the action with a huge choice of summer and winter sports available for all, or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery all around! The village location means you are close to real Austrian mountain countryside in all its beauty. The property is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kaprun and all its amenities. The nearby town of Zell am See is next to lake Zell.

winter & Summer Skiing

During the winter the ski lifts in the village centre are walking distance from the flats and are open throughout the winter season. All year skiing is guaranteed on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. There are plenty of ski equipment hire shops and ski schools in the village.

If you are looking for and alternative to skiing one day you might like to consider the following :

Snowboarding on the Kitzsteinhorn Mellow Park

With 3 Snow parks on the top, the Kitzsteinhorn gives you: freshly reshaped parks every day with 70 obstacles and this year there is a new super pipe. Why not make this year the start of your snowboarding fun!

Winter Hiking

There is a wide-spread network of paths with cafés and mountain huts. Please take sturdy footwear, winter-proof clothing. Guided snowshoe and winter hiking tours are also available. There are also hiking trails through Kaprun if you simply want a leisurely walk in the afternoon.

Grossglockner - the highest mountain in Austria about 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Kaprun

This was a return visit to this warm comfortable and well situated apartment. Communication with the hosts and with the building manager we’re excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable ski holiday stay.

I booked the cheapest option for a ski camp and got sorriest hole in town. It was stinky when I got there, no wifi, no hand soap, uncomfortable beds and bedding, no freezer. Communication with the owner is annoying. If you are looking for the cheapest option just for yourself and willing to stomach all the downsides, it might work, but I would not bring any company to this place.

Fantastic apartment

Brilliant location just 3 minutes walk from ski bus and across the road from very good hire shop. Pre departures information re the property communicated succintly and clearly via email. Our flight was significantly delayed but the Hausmeister kindly let us in quite late which was very much appreciated! Bedding clean and beds comfortable, cozy warm apartment with well stocked kitchenette and bath. My 3rd time returning to these apartments. Cannot be beaten for price and location

Good for family holliday

We spent a week in this flat. I can't say something bad, because this studio is true to its price. Nice place, bus station, big bathroom and balcony . But one moment was not a pleasure. The manager doesn't speak English, it was a problem , i paid an Austrian tax for week for all family, but Kids under 15 years old will not have to pay the tax. I coudn't explain this, so I paid a tax for 9 years old daughter. Some problems was with bed linings, a pillowcases didnt fit a pillow. I took several from home, so i solved this problem. One thing is really need to be, it is a Standtrockner or Wäscheschirm. or something like this, it can be a rope in the bathroom.

A most enjoyable week in the beautiful town of Kaprun. Very central for skiing.

Comfortable, warm, well equipped small apartment. Very accessible to all amenities. Ski rental and buses to resorts only a few meters away. Short stroll into the town centre. Excellent parking facilities. Very friendly manager who was most helpful and kind to us. The apartment was perfectly adequate for myself and two daughters and we all enjoyed our stay. Well equipped kitchen with all utensils. The apartment was warm and comfortable. It was excellent value and communication with the owners Sylvia and Stephen was very good. I would highly recommend it and hope to return if possible in the future.

Mattresses need replacing could feel the springs. Thicker curtains needed see through ones not great when u r directly opposite a hotel. Extra duvet and pillows available but no linen for them. Self catering but no oven. Info pack would have been helpful. Not very cosy and dated decor everything tables lamps etc felt like someones left overs. Had a great holiday as snow fantastic but very disappointed with appartment. First time we have had to say this when staying in Austria. Our 6th time to Kaprun.

The property is basic but what would one expect for the money. It as everything you need for a self catering holiday with supermarkets close by. There are several exceptional restaurants within walking distance for those who perfer to eat out. The ski bus stop is 100metres away at the most, this services all the ski slopes in Kaprun and Zell Am See

Lovely place albeit not very warm

The heating isn't quite up to colder weather. For internet I would suggest the A1 Internet cube for 100 Euros, which includes 30 Euros for a months unlimited access, which can be got from the A1 shop in the middle of Zell am See. Handy for Bella Casa restaurant underneath, and near bus stop to the mountain, as well as Billa supermarket across the river.

Value for money

What to expect? If you pay a small price then there is hardley any room to complain. It took some adjustment after finding ou that there was no ski room and before we used the porcelain and cutlery a quick washing up was needed. Beds were fine and the kitchen is very functional.Location taking the use of a bus in consideration was A. Less than 5 minutes to the busstop and a bus every 15 minutes. Only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Kaprun and 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket.
